Cannery Row Monument reviews
6Worth coming to see the local establishments. Interesting monument too
A good place to stop by and walk around.
Not as much to see as Carmel or the 17 mile drive, but it’s worth stopping by.
The bougainvillea flowers were gorgeous!
A very moving tribute to Steinbeck. The gang is all here. Doc looks pensive. The frogs are loose.
This area of Monterrey is excellent for walking and enjoying the landscape, the shops and the varied gastronomic offer it has. There is a lot to explore so you should come with the desire to walk and discover, shop in the stores and finally go to a restaurant to taste some delicious dish with a Mexican flavor!
Great gathering place in Monterey by the statue. The statue is in memory of John Steinbeck, who stands at the top. The book Cannery Row (in Swedish Det Stora Kalaset) takes place in Monterey during the depression of the 1930s.
Beautiful location, nice place to walk and shop. Variety of stores and restaurants!
