Cannery Seafood of the Pacific reviews
19One of my favorite date night spots. The claim chowder is a great starter. We often order off the jellyfish lounge upstairs menu. The kung pow chicken and sashimi is where it's at!
It's 4th July who closes at 2: 30? Our entree came first. Our appetizers came in last. After our server told us that she would space out our order. What's wrong with this? The only saving grace was that the drinks were good and the food was good too.
We made reservations for 4 but they said it was only for 2 when we arrived.they were not able to even make us a reservation for more than 4 initially …. When we came there were many empty tables … we tried calamari, tuna for appetizer.very very mediocre… brunch menu very very limited.service was ok and it’s a nice place but food was again very basic almost like a basic sports bar level. Celebrating my sister Birthday I was ashamed of limited menu … Will not go back. There’s many places with way better food around that area …
Outstanding, definately pricey but the food is always cooked with perfection and the cocktails are well balanced. Definately a place to go
This place was recommended to us from a friend who said if I like clam chowder I should go if I'm ever in Newport. I don't like clam chowder, I LOVE IT.even the cheap stuff out of a can. I know ️. This place was amazing. Great service, great location, great clam chowder.wish the bowl was 10 times bigger though. The swordfish tacos were awesome. Wedge salad also very good. Overall great spot to hit up. And a BONUS.the owner is a huge sports fan and has a waiting room full of super old and cool baseball memorabilia! ️. Two of us ate and drank for 115 bucks plus a big tip cause our waitress was really good. Well worth 40 bucks a plate. We will be back if in Newport again. We used online reservations and got right in at our allotted time. Not too busy for a Thursday night.
Good service, great food/sushi/shrimp/cheese and berries, clean bathroom. I don't drink, but others seem to enjoy the wine. Used an upstairs room for a family gathering of about 20.
This restaurant is very nice. We had a table outside and the view was astonishing. The food is prepared quickly and tastes very good. The Benedict eggs were slightly spicy, but still delicious, the clam chowder was good, and the oysters were fantastic. Fish and chips were usual. It’s good to have a reservation, especially on weekends because the spot is quite crowded.
Love this place! The bar is upstairs and you can have seats near the windows with great views. They have a great happy hour, even on weekends! The food is delicious. I love the cannery roll and the kung pao chicken is awesome. They are generous with their pours, so while it's a bit expensive, you feel like you're getting your monies worth.
Great seafood and wasn't too crowded during mid day on mothers day. It did get crowded as the evening went on, though. Based on info from my wife, Friday's are a nightmare and people hunt for checks on the table to stand by and jump the table to get in before anyone else does.
Wonderful brunch outside. Great view of the water and delicious food. The quiche was excellent with a marvelous bacon flavor and buttery crust.
A Mother’s day treat that could have been better. At the reception Young ladies showing an attitude and not making you feel welcome or addressing your questions. As a Mother’s day, women should be supportive of another instead of disregarding you. I didn't come here for this but to enjoy great food at a great restaurant with my treasured family. The waitress did her best but failed my order. One male waiter and the lady manager came to our rescue and my Cod was scrumptious. They turned the situation over and made us feel welcome. We will be back and thank you.
The spot was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon, really busy at the top floor. First come first serve seating too.
Pablo Escolar roll was excellent and I highly recommend it along with the Soft shell crab sliders.
The downstairs bar and area has the outside patio area with the view of the boats. Next time we’ll dine downstairs. Also FYI, There is no self parking, it’s just $6 valet.
Buddies came out here after a car show to have brunch followed by a yatch cruise after.
Place is very nice and upscale to a level, with beautiful views all around of the bay.
Service was great for us specially being a party of 16 o believe. Server was on the drinks and food and it was great.
Drinks are well poured and mixed great along with bottomless mimosas.
Food was your typical brunch food from burrito, eggs, and the other typical stuff. Taste was good but nothing to brag about.
Parking was small but didn't matter as they offer valet and the guys are super cool here in the lot.
Overall great experience and would be back.
And God created the Cannery Seafood of the Pacific.
This is hands down my best meal in years travelling the US. I just can't believe my luck!
Congratulations to the chef Víctor Soto
Every dish is spot on with flavours, spices, sweetness, acidity, freshness. Octopus and scallops are cooked to perfection. Portions are generous without falling into mad excess. And outstanding service from Justin and the whole team! I have to be back soon!
Thank you!
Salmon dinner served in a bowl making it very difficult to eat. Broccolini undercooked and had to be sent back. Waited another 10 minutes for it while everyone else was continuing to eat their meals. Had to ask waiter to remove plates well after we were finished. Typical response of “we’re busy “. Will not go back for extremely overpriced food even if they are “ on the water “.
Great bartenders and service at the bar downstairs. Had a few sushi rolls which were really good. Great pours and selection of whiskey. They're knowledgable
This place is great! Location has a great view and is always poppin. Loved the sushi, and they have a great wine list. Go check it out. You'll love it.
Wonderful experience from drinks at the bar to dining on the deck w stunning views. Food Scrumptious and Service w Valentina perfection.
Our dishes were fantastic! We were happy what we pick, this was our first time visiting, and every dishes were surprisingly yum! They got skill on cooking fishes! You can’t miss it!
