Canyons Restaurant at The Crossings at Carlsbad

Fast, friendly, and fantastic food. Server, Alexis, recommended the Reuben because the corned beef is good. NOT! ITS GREAT. The new Ciabatta chicken also good. View from the patio is soothing to the soul. Wish I had taken photos.

Beautiful views when sitting outdoors! Enjoyed live music all the food was flavorful and filling stopped in on a Wednesday for date night between 6pm - 8pm:) great service! Go check it out!

Make reservations it's a must. All the employees are super nice. We sat outside they have nice music and they had a live person singing. They have endless mimosas on the weekends. I had an amazing brunch burger with skinny fries. My husband liked the chilaquiles.

They are rude as ever I called to order a sandwich. The girl went through the whole order and then only to tell me that they didn’t have it and I believe this is because I previously had an issue with them by placing an order they lied and said they had a restricted menu then I had someone else call and place the order, rude and very inconsiderate

Beautiful golf course view. Great staff. Very good food. Not fancy.
Have been there several times. The last time I had the fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy, fish cooked perfect.
Ask for an appetizer of the house chips. Light, crunchy, and salted perfectly.
Inside or outside seating. You do not have to be a golfer to enjoy this restaurant.

I think the musician was too loud. He was good but maybe the speakers would be better turned down so we could hear ourselves better.

Great views, delicious food and amazing ambience- live music during Sunday brunch really made the experience. All for a very affordable price.

Staff was under staffed and still was an amazing experience- highly recommend.

Food and the view from The Canyons is always good. In this case, our sever pretty much lied to us the entire time about his promptness in serving us. While he claimed to be "slammed" we noticed he was hanging out with the other service workers at a table about 30ft away from ours. We have eaten at the Canyons on several occasions and, for the most part had good service. Let's hope this time was an exception.

Made reservations to celebrate a birthday at what I thought would be an elegant restaurant with a beautiful view (I had been there for a wedding the prior year).
Wow what disappointing ambiance!
Bare hard floors, ugly banquet tables with beige cloths, no flowers no plants, no artwork.
It felt like we were walking into a school cafeteria. I literally thought we were in the wrong place.
We settled in though, waited TOO long for the server to ask us and then bring us mimosas.looked at the menu and, wow, it had the imagination of a Dennys menu.
Short stack, waffles, Denver Omelette.yawn.
I ordered the only thing that was interesting which was the Chilaquilas.

The food we all received, did in fact, taste good, but the plating was sad. No garnishing whatsoever.

Then there was a guy playing live music which was nice, but they also had the stupid regular music turned on. I had to ask someone to turn off the other music so we could hear the performer.

It would be SO easy to fix these issues. It's such a beautiful golf club. Get it together Crossings!

Worst place ever. They didn't tell us when we made reservations that the place where I wanted to sit was going to be closed. We showed up and asked for a place under the umbrella because that table was about to be done. The hostess said ok. She called us back and offered to seat us at a table in the sun because other people sat at the table I asked for. She refused to tell the people seated at the table that was promised to us to leave. I think I had better service at Denny's compared to this horrible place. Thank god I didn't eat here. The menu looked quite unimpressive.

Service was very slow. Food was okay. I liked the truffle fries. Partial ocean view was great.

Menu has gotten much smaller after Covid. Pretty limited now.
Food is good though. Salads are very good, along with the sandwiches.
The real draw is the setting though. Sitting out on the patio overlooking the golf course, ocean and Legoland is as good as it gets.
