This is the most scandalous property management I have ever seen or dealt with. Do not ever go with them. Turn back now. Nick is the most scandalous of them all. He is rude & disrespectful! My car also has been broken into apartments are infested with roaches. Horrible horrible horrible

If it wasn't for Edlena, we wouldn't have found our new home. She was so helpful and responsive. She made the process easy and I'm so grateful to her!

I had bad experience with office and neighbors. My stuff stolen many times. I asked the office, they told me that camera does not work and no access. I left the appartment in good shape but they charged me anyway. Too noisy, office does not help, Nick does not responsible for anything but he works there and too rude. I do not recommend to move this complex.

Lena helped me move into my 1st apartment, she responds quickly and gives very good information and is a huge help. Thank you guys!

I've been here for a 18 months and i've had the worst happen. My car has been broken into twice.and i don't just drive any kind of car.i work too hard to have my personal belongings ruined. Management don't seem to care.they have cameras but they don't work.they haven't even thought about fixing them.if this keeps happening i will pursue legal actions. I'm ready to move ASAP!

Loved working with Lena, she's the best! Made finding an apartment so easy and the approval process was a breeze. Was so accommodating with my schedule and answered all of my questions very quickly. Ask for Lena!

I was a bit shaky when I was looking for apartments, especially within the month of the incoming school year. When I found a place, I was very lucky and thankful to have found Lena from Capital Realty! She really made the entire process much easier for me and greatly reduced my stress during the time. I really can't thank her enough and I hope that more employees at Capital Realty will look to Lena as an example of a outstanding listing agent!

Drove up to Long Beach for an appointment to view a property. Was waiting outside when I called to let them know I was there they asked for what property. When I told them they said they have been trying to contact everyone to let them know it’s already been rented. They never contacted me or anything so I wasted the morning driving up half hour away and waiting outside for nothing.

Lena is AMAZING! She has helped me throughout this whole process and had a great attitude while she did! I highly suggest this company ESPECIALLY Lena, give that woman a raise, to anyone looking to stay in Long Beach and needs help looking for a place! And the pricing is great! Everything I needed and more!

If you are a future renter and are looking for a good realty to work with, this is not the place for you. The person I first spoke to from this company, Nick, was very rude and unprofessional. His father owns the company so I believe this is the only reason why he still has a job here. Secondly, this company will NOT respect your time and will not respect your concerns. Twice in a row we've had someone scheduled to come repair things, and both times they have been almost or over 3 hours late. One time the worker never came and I ended up waiting for the whole day. When I tried to reach out to multiple people through text, I received no response. This has the potential of ruining your schedule if you have plans or work. We have been living in the apartment for over a decade and have never seen the necessary repairs that come along with an aging apartment. We've consistently written letters about habitability violations and have been ignored throughout the years. Once they claimed that they didn't even receive the letter. The most recent letter we sent included legal jargon, and this was the letter that finally sparked the beginning of repairs. It has been over two months since we sent that letter and only half the repairs have been made. We were packed up in boxes for two months waiting for painters to come. When the painters came, they did not fix any of the issues they were sent to fix in the first place. After this, we were packed up for another two months waiting for them to come repaint. We had to live with our things packed through the entire summer into fall. I told this to the people working there countless times in every single email I've sent. But when I spoke to them on the phone, they person I've been emailing did not even know about it which convinces me they don't even read our emails. It is exhausting having to constantly check up and remind and keep in contact with this company and having to tell multiple people our issues over and over, but then having none of them do anything about it until you pester them like crazy. The apartments aren't even worth it. They are cheaply made and they never clean up in the inside of the complex building. It's so dusty and bug carcasses always end up all over the floors in the summer. They will raise your rent as much as possible, two years ago they raised rent by $75 ish dollars every month for three or four months in a row. When we first moved in, rent was almost $1000 cheaper. Ultimately I'd avoid this realty at all costs. It is now a year later, they still have not completed 1/3 of the requests and because I've stopped pestering them, they never reached back out. They have been doing constant renovations to the outside of the apartments to make them look more appealing, but don't be fooled. They will not maintain the inside once you begin living there.

Management lies, the worst ever.
The female office manager is a B. She set me up and lied on me and to me. She tried to intimidate me. The tenants knew she lied on me.
The property where I lived is badly maintained. Some tenants smoke directly outside the gates or on the property and the management does nothing to correct the problem. Maintenance workers are dirty, messy and inept.
The management company does not care a about tenants, all they want is the rent. Quite a number of tenants in the building where I once lived complained about the poor customer service.
The building has roaches that do not go away, no matter what, this issue is years old. When I moved out the roaches hid inside my furniture and shipping boxes. I was mortified in the extreme. I also had black and green mold all over the apartment, doors, closets, bedroom, living room, hallway.etc, year after year. It damaged my furnature, shoes, clothing.etc.

This company is very unprofessional. Believe the comments when people speak of Nick, he is very rude and unprofessional. They allow co-signers but decides who gets to use one and who can’t. They are also very dishonest people. I’m going to be filling a complaint with fair housing.

I am extremely exicited about my new home. The process it self was fast, Nick was soooo wonderful in responding back, Lena was amazing, she was so patient with me, made sure nick got all documents needed. She kept me informed about everything. Such a great access to this company. Thanks Nick, and Lena.

This review is specifically for Edlena Lemos (Lena) from Capital Realty Advisors. It was my first time renting, so I had a TON of questions, but Lena has been very helpful throughout the process. She helped me to secure my first apartment and has been super responsive whenever I need anything. I highly recommend working with Lena!

12/07/2020 (Review update)
I just wanted to provide an update with my experience with the maintenance crew. Joel and his supervisor Benjamin were very professional in fixing the floor heater and the door key that had chipped wood from it's installation. The latter was minor in comparison to the heater but nevertheless is much appreciated. Benjamin made sure to clean the entire floor heating unit while Joel had to crawl under the building since it was a two person job. They installed new controls and made sure that the apartment is equipped with a carbon monoxide detector. Safe to say that the heater is working and the front door looks good. Exceptional job for both Joel and Benjamin! The maintenance work order from the tenant online portal has been working for me. The response time has been 1-2 days.

I had the pleasure of working with Lena in my recent apartment hunt on the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving. Despite the warnings of move-in date of Dec. 5th because of the holidays, she was able to work with me to move in by Dec. 1st. She was very understanding and managed to work with her team to ensure that I had a place on the requested date. She's my holiday hero! I noticed that she made a special exception, despite being off work to push my request up to her co-workers. For that I am grateful. She also clarified some misunderstandings about a refrigerator in the unit, which is an honest mistake from working remotely. I am a new tenant and reserve a thorough reflection as a resident in their property. For now so far so good!

I was very lucky to have connected with Lena. Definitely counting my blessings based on the other reviews on here. Thank you Lena for an exceptional work ethic!
