So so dim sum but only game in town. Too bad.

Things have gotten worse and more expensive, like 30% more for the same order!

The food really mediocre, every dish came to the table lukewarm as though it had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes before delivery. I complained and they took everything back and re steamed the Har Gow which made it way too chewy unless you like shrimp gum. The Sui Mai was re steamed to a level of toughness that was inedible, they refried the egg rolls: awful over cooked and the turnip cake would have worked better as packaging glue.

Really a horrible experience, shocked to see actual Asian people swallowing it. Also shocking that OC does not have anything better, it would not take much!

TBA (to be avoided)!

Yvonne at the bar was the sweetest and most caring bartender. Took great care of my sister and I. She recommended great dishes and all of them were delicious!

Great dimsum place. Great service. They have covered outdoor seating which is great if you have puppies. Very few Asian dining establishments allow pets and Capital Dim Sum is one of the best. Great food and choice of dimsum.

Downside is that it is always crowded but that is only confirms the quality. Five star rating.

We visited capital Dim Sum on July 16 2022 and the service was poor. They served a party of 4 that checked in after us (2) and we still waited to see if we were going to be attended, but that didn’t happen. We had to ask after many staff passed by still no one came by. Will not come back.

One of few Dim Sum Restaurants that take reservations. Upper scale Dim Sum restaurants where you order food to your table, none of the traditional push carts roaming the restaurant.

Went at a very random time so not crowded at all. Their special spicy chicken with cilantro is amazing! I'm not a big fan of lomein but my husband loved it. We also ordered the dimsum platter, it was wayyy too much food for just the two of us so we reheated and ate the dimsums later. Tried only one piece fresh and it was truly yum!

There is an enclosed patio area. There are ceiling fans which is very nice. Because of the pandamic, I guess, there are no rolling carts of dim sum anymore. You order from the menu (no prices listed) and your order will be brought to your table. The food is good, albeit expensive! It's more expensive than dim sum in Toronto. There aren't any places for good dim sum in Irvine so you dont really any choice. Don't bother with the soup dumpling, they are dry, and no soup whatsoever. You have to go to Ding Tai Fung for those. Overall, it was a pleasant brunch. It gets really busy so try to be there when they open.

Decent dim sum restaurant in spectrum center. Large tables and quite roomy. There is parking across the street but it can be full

For y’all commenting food is good here it’s trash. It’s not fresh you can tell cuz the top part of the dimsum that we all ordered is dry. Don’t go to this restaurant, they are just lucky because thay have a very good location but food wise it’s trash. Try ding tai fung their name don’t justify what they serve.: (

Food was alright but overpriced. The workers are extremely rude? They did not acknowledge us when we have a question.they’re hard working but terrible service.

Dim Sum too pricey & very dry compared to other Dim Sum places like in Alhambra & Rowland Heights which is half of the price, more juicy & delicious

Besides the fact that this place is busy the one thing I had experienced is the delay in two items that typically comes out first so by the time this came out after consuming other scrumptious order I no longer wanted those two items as I have been accustomed to have had those two dishes first. Servers we're prompt however on all request made.

This is a beautiful white table cloth restaurant. It's also quite large so there shouldn't be a wait. We split a mooshu pork plate and it was more than enough for us and very good

This place has excellent dim sum during the weekend. They use fresh ingredients. Everything is prepared with high quality. My whole family love this restaurant.

I gave this restaurant 4 times. Every time I come here I get disappointed with the food quality. Unfortunately, the food quality is very low.

The sitter told us that they had a wait (never said how long) and they were going ti call our name when ready. 20 minutes later, customers kept coming out, we were the only ones (two) waiting for a table. A family came straight out inside, I wait 5 minutes to see what happened, my surprise was that they were sitting at a table. I asked the cashier and he said that they didn't have reservation, but he will sit us right away. Servers no where to be found, inattentive, and indifferent. Food was ok. This place was great when it was at the Jamboree location. No more.

Never coming back. Ordered the beef cheong fun and the texture of the rice noodle was wrong and it was cold. The har how was also not good and cold. I am now ill from the food here. Would not recommend this place to anybody. It is better to drive to Cerritos and get authentic dim sum and a normal price or buy frozen at 99 ranch market and steam at home. No prices on menu. Was shocked when I saw the bill at the end as it comes out to $9-$10 per plate.

If you're looking for authentic Chinese food around Irvine, this is an excellent choice. Fresh dim sum, lots of options to choice from and fast service. Ample dining room.
