Capitol Yards

As a resident of capital yards for the past 6 months, I can only comment on my own experiences. And that is nothing short of helpfullness, professionalism and getting any inconvenience addressed as best as they can. Tara and her team go above and beyond to help find solutions to any issues that are brought up. Sure, parking can be a bit stressful and of course, we live in a community so some neighbor noise is bound to happen, but its not an issue. At least the folks in my building seem to have a general respect for one another and can speak to each other about any issues like adults. The property is well maintained, the amenities (pool, gym, dog park, bbq's) are all up to date and in good working condition. The maintenance staff is friendly and Ron is willing to help in every way possible if he can.

Tara, property manager, gave an excellent description of the various options for leasing, descriptions of different apartment configurations, review of amenities of this site and location in broader community. She is warm, friendly and professional. An excellent reason for leasing at Capital Yards.

Capitol yards is a very nice little community area with some awesome amenities with it. It’s right across the bridge from the city but in my opinion that’s makes it easier for parking and getting places as the highway is super close by. There’s a ability to have a garage to keep your car in which is pretty great!

Overall my experience here has been amazing with no issues. It is a well kept complex with very nice and helpful management. Capitol yards has great accommodations and the location is perfect for activities downtown and we are lucky to have the rivercats across the street.

I've had multiple issues with theft from my vehicle as well as other tenets especially in the 703 building. I suggest parking as close to the office as possible. The homeless are incredibly bad in this area as well. You will often find them digging in our public garbage areas and just throwing stuff everywhere. The units are decent but this area is absolutely a zoo. If its not some kind of damage or theft its a homeless person tweaking out or causing some type of disorderly scene.

The office plays this all off like no big deal. This place needs 24hr security enforcement.

The office legally has to tell you how many complaints and incidents the property has had. Just ask around or have them show you. I strongly recommend thinking twice and if you move here you need to park by the office and don't walk around late at night especially not alone.

Besides that. The hot tub is decent.

The worst experience ever! Poor management, Very loud AC super annoying.like you are in a helicopter. Management does nothing to fix your concerns. Be careful when you move out they will try to get ur every dollar.

I wish this apartment complex would take designated parking more seriously. The maintenance person “Ron” allowed his daughter to park in my space on a few a occasions and I had caught him using my spot. This time I caught the relative of his using my spot they cursed me out and used race related terms to insult me. The parking is a joke and I will not be renewing my lease at Capital Yards.on top of that I felt uncomfortable leaving my car to be exposed to his family member that threatened me.
