Capri Deli reviews
14Over 50 years of going to both the old and current locations. Tho food was fantastic, as always. If you have never been here your life is not complete. Enjoy life, enjoy Capri Deli.
Best sandwiches ever, quality of anything you get is always fresh and taste fantastic. They have good spaghetti meat sauce as well.
One of my favorite places for sandwiches. I grew up in Covina and the sandwiches still taste as good as they did 30 years ago. Customer service is outstanding! Portions are generous and the food is delicious!
There sandwichs are delicious I got 2 large ham for my family and I it was pretty warm outside today so there sandwiches hit the spot. I waited like 15 minutes in line but it's better to phone order ahead to avoid the wait time. I didn't really mind it because there so busy. Our go to spot when it's hot out.
First visit. Nice variety of sandwiches, drinks and snacks. Very courteous employees. Their turkey pastrami and meatball on garlic bread sandwiches are so delicious. We were very impressed.
This would be our third visit and oh my gosh, their staff does not disappoint! We decided to try pasta dishes 1/2SPAG/1/2Ravioli. Ordered the rootbeer on tap! And an extra order of garlic bread! We where very pleased to see that their indoor dining was exceptionally clean and organized! Every table was over 6 feet apart. Perfect for us during this time. We must say the meal was absolutely delicious! Marianara sauce was delicious, we slurped quite a bit. Very tasty! The Ravilos where stuffed and so fresh! The salad by the way was fresh and crispy, Bluechesse dressing was bomb! Just a note: Interested in a hot sandwich, MUST TRY THEIR BEEF DIP!
Needs to hire more people or better people. Insanely huge wait time for phone orders. Time is money and going to this place wastes my money.
So, this place has been around for 67 years, huh? Really? Why? How? I do not understand all the great reviews on the Internet or on apps like Welp! While I can't say it's awful it certainly is not a superb, delicious sandwich either. If it is for you? By all means enjoy. Just don't tell me it's the best because it is not by a long shot! BTW, their major fail is the bread. One word. MEDIOCRE!
I like this deli & if in the area definitely a stop for a to go order. I'm not big on their pizza or hot pasta dishes, but the sandwiches is why I stop. Pastrami is good, but I usually go for the cold sandwiches done classic style, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, vinegar or mayonnaise & mustard. Your choice.
Nice place to eat. Waitress was nice, helpful. Restaurant was clean. Traffic flowed smoothly. Customers treated efficiently. Will go again. A little pricey but ok since it's only once in awhile. Thank you for asking.
Been coming here forever, if you enjoy a classic sub whether it's a cold cut/meatball/ roast beef dip, it will be friggin delicious, oh yeah one more thing, they don't offa friggin onions you marmaluke!
When you're looking for that classic Italian hole the wall deli with a fresh feel and a great atmosphere. Good people and good food. Plus a bar area to enjoy a cold one while you eat.
Pastrami had half the usual meat and the meat tasted like end of the day old so bad we threw it out. Will try once more since honestly I've had much better here before. Inconsistent lately to say the least.
Been making stops here whenever we're in the area and craving sandwiches. The smaller size is more than enough for one, while the larger size is enough to split between two.
