Capri Motel Santa Cruz

My girlfriend and I are staying here and I higly recommend it for anyone else who wants to stay close to downtown and close to Santa Cruz Wharf. Downtown is a 10 minute walk away and so is the wharf. Very friendly management and just a very pleasant stay all in all.

Rented room for two nights. Room was musty and cracks in the bathroom wall as well as a slit underneath the door where bugs were able to enter (found one bug in bathroom) Left after the first night and they did not refund me for my 2nd night. Walls also very thin. Cheap price tho so you get what you pay for I guess

Room was bare n basic. Worst bed ever! Loud, lots of street traffic. Way too expensive for what it is!

The staff treated us like family. Rooms were VERY clean and maintained better than anticipated for an older place. Quick to answer questions and answer requests for more towels.
The only downside was the lack of a bathroom door. A thick curtain hung in it's place, making it uncomfortable to take care of bathroom needs.

Was better than expected. Very close to the boardwalk but spending $300 for a one night stay is absurdly costly for a box with a bed in it.

Filthy, expensive, loud clientele & pot smoking in rooms. You've been warned stay clear of the worst in the area

By far the worst motel I ever payed for! The walls were dirty that looked like feces in some areas. The place looks like it has never been dusted in a very long time. The sheets were stained, the microwave was dirty, the TV was very dusty, our family felt like they were getting bit up, I suggest looking els where or sleep in your car, my family was very disappointed and they charged almost 300 a night, never again

The condition of the room was alright, but the beds were musty and you can hear everything going on outside. Our entire family woke up with bug bites from sleeping on the beds. We didn’t even sleep under the sheets, we slept on top but we still got bitten. It’s been a week already and the bites still itch. Mutant bed bugs maybe? I don’t know. Honestly, it’s a last resort when you’ve got nowhere else to go. But $200 a night? I’ll let y’all decide. Definitely not staying there again!

I stayed with a guess for 1 night and it had roaches, stained mattresses and they don't have face towels. I ADVISE TO ANYONE, DON'T RENT A ROOM HERE EVEN IF THERE ARE NO VACANCIES!

Close to the Boardwalk, cheap hotel $rates. Nice Manager. Very out dated hotel room and very old mattress rough.

You get what you pay for. I found it to be the cheapest place here. The beds are uncomfortable. The TV is small. It smells like old building. There's no fan in the bathroom. No tub, just a shower that soaks the floor. The towels have that line dry feel. You can here the upstairs and side neighbors. But the worst part was construction started at 7am with yelling and banging. However, the staff was nice, their office smelled like curry. There is a mini fridge and microwave. No bedbugs. It's an ok place to rest on a budget.

I give this place a -3 smelly 3 beds 6 guest one bathroom with no door. Paid almost 300 for one night.

If your looking for a fancy motel this is not for you. When I first arrived the man that greeted us was very rude, he made us check in at 2: 30pm no early check-in, the bed is really old and very uncomfortable you can feel the springs and the pillows were a joke towels were quite dirty the sheets were not that clean it's not the greatest neither was it the worst its walking distance from the boardwalk me myself i will never stay here again i rather pay another $100 for a much comfortable stay

There were a lot of room noises, noisy pipes, bathroom sink drained very slowly, price was reasonable

This was a last minute booking, and it exceeded our expectations. Well worth the bargain price.
