Made online appointment for a specific time precisely as per their website and automated phone message advice. I showed up 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment just to find out ‘they are running late: minimum of 45 minutes’ as walk ins take priority and there were at least 3 people ahead of me. Simple fix: don’t accept online / phone appointments so people don’t get frustrated; it’s ok to be a walk in clinic only. Not honoring scheduled appointments and wasting patients time is hurting your ratings.

This Urgicare is on 555 East Ocean Blvd.in Long Beach. New "management took over this year 2021. The sign out front is new saying "CARBON HEALTH". I have been going there for 3 years, last visit just a few months ago. All of a sudden there is all new staff, a new doctor and virtual visits (i.e. More money). The reviews giving this Urgicare 4 and 5 stars are from two, three even 5 years ago! That's impossible! I have lived right across the street from this Urgicare for many years. Don't believe the reviews prior to 6 months ago. The staff doesn't know what they are doing, could not even use the printer to print out my results. Let's see if you print MY review!

The staff is nice however it is clear they are untrained in the new carbon health systems, and all seem so be a bit confused with what they’re supposed to be doing. I was required to make an appointment and did so. The appointment was at 10: 20 and I was not seen by a physician until 11: 40 There is no reason to have a patient wait over an hour past their scheduled time. I was told I would get some blood work done and sent to the reception to receive paper work. She did not have paper work and asked me to sit back down to wait for that. Once she called me back up there was no paper work but instead they wanted me to wait to get seen again to get the blood work done there. It wasn’t a terrible experience but I would not come back seeing as it is clear there is a huge lack of communication within the staff and an issue with time management. Overall I spent about 2 and a half hours and 2 hours were spent just waiting around in reception.

Honestly best place to go. Everyone was so nice and caring there. I recommended going there even if you don't have insurance. I will definitely be coming here again if I need medical services.

Been here 3 times because my regular drs office was booked. I was pleasantly surprised always a short wait the staff are friendly and helpful and dr is friendly and professional thanks guys

Wonderful place with dedicated employees. I have been there twice, and the staff and medical personnel solved my issues, were really helpful and I would highly recommend this facility. They go beyond the necessary 'taking vitals'. They are truly kind. And the results are excellent. Greta Hughes

This place is sketchy. The staff seems constantly annoyed just from you being there. My "nurse" would just walk into the room without even knocking on the door. Ask me a question in broken English and then slam the door closed not to be seen or heard from again for 20 min. At one point the male nurse asked me a question and I said I do not understand what he asked me. So he ignored me and continued on with his work. It is poorly lit and the lobby looks as if it gets cleaned once a month

If you have any other option for urgent care take it. Give your money to someone who actually wants your business

The front desk was nice. That is the one positive thing i can say about my experience. But the nurses are rude and unprofessional

Tried to get an appointment for my partner who had no covid symptoms other than a very mild fever and they refused to see him other than a virtual visit that wouldn't have accomplished anything.

Front desk ladies were SO nice and welcoming. I went back in less than 5 minutes and was seen by the doctor immediately. Nice clean space. Highly recommend.

I had gone in back in April 2018 to see Dr PRISCILLA ROY. Can’t deny that I had a good experience with her. I went in as soon as they opened, but now I keep getting a bill from them that says I owe $188 dollars. I mean I don’t mind paying it but my insurance covers it. I even did a 3 way call with their billing department which I thought got it resolved. Apparently not. They keep billing the incorrect insurance department. So here we are in 2020 and now I have to take time out of work once again to try to resolve this issue for the second time.

Awesome! In and out in 30 min, clean, professional and super nice. Had to Xray my hand and they could do it all right there. I highly recommend Urgent Care +

Good place. Dr is very professional and site is clean. The only issue I had was they require upfront payment and then bill insurance. So of course I'll need to chase down $$'s once the EOB comes in from insurance co.

The follow-up from this staff is amazing! And I had to go back 11 days later due to symptoms reoccurring. I am happy they are in my town.

I've used this UC whenever I need treatment instead of going to the ER. It's easy to be seen quickly vs getting an appointment with my primary and WAY less expensive than going to the ER (and you're not sitting there for hours). The staff and physician are very personable and the cost is reasonable, even without insurance because it's all inclusive. Its clean and parking isn't bad even though it's street parking.

We were visiting from out of state and I rolled my ankle on the very last day of our vacation. We drove to this facility and they took all of my information and tried to run my insurance. Since it was two time zones away, my insurance could not be reached. I paid full price ($125 for consultation and $80 for X-ray), but they said they would call my insurance the following morning to see if they would cover.

The X-ray came back with no fractures and everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly. The next morning, I received a phone call stating that they had reached my insurance provider and we’re going to refund me everything I paid except for my insurance copay. I then received an emailed receipt and all of the notes and reports from my visit with well wishes for our upcoming flight.

A seriously great experience!

Dr. Roy always spends a ton of time with me and explains things in detail. I wish she did primary care!

I’m absolutely pleased with the services that these amazing, friendly, attentive and truly CARING doctors and nurses provide here. 10 out of 5 stars! I’ve been in pain for months before ending up in their office and I did see 2 different expensive “specialists” prior - who were unable to properly diagnose what my actual issue is. I ended up having so much pain that I couldn’t take it anymore, so I went to see if they could help in any way. The doctor was able to diagnose me right away and treat me right there and then. Spent 1 hour total in the office, the problem is now solved and I can say with confidence that this was one of my best experiences in healthcare so far.

A friend of mine went here and they failed to diagnosis her appendicitis. She went to her home doctor the day after and they immediately removed her appendix.

It was my first visit there today. The front desk was really help and had excellent customer service. I was in an out in 45 minutes. The staff here is amazing. I recommend going here
