Carbon Health Urgent Care Echo Park

This place is great. Very friendly staff and extremely professional. I felt safe and informed. Thanks again to the Carbon health staff at the echo park location.

I have mixed feelings about this clinic. For two years I’ve received pretty great healthcare. Even just through the app I’ve been able to request new prescription medications and receive immediate responses to my questions. I was recently able to add my partner on to my insurance, and because of my experience I encouraged her to start coming here as well. About two-three weeks ago our entire household became sick with pretty nasty coughs and fatigue. After a few days I booked an appointment, was very quickly prescribed a cough suppressant and antibiotics. As a genetic engineer, I understand the hesitancy to prescribe these due to resistance, but also the need in certain situations. My concerns with this establishment started when I noticed the difference in care between myself and my partner, who is not white. She was seen for the same symptoms and issues, but her situation has not been taken seriously. She was tested for Covid, two flu strains (a &b), and a virus RSV: all negative. She was told if she did come back negative, they would move forward with treatment for bronchitis (what I was treated for). That did not happen. She was instructed to rest up and recover with over the counter cold medicine. She is very by the book, and followed the care instructions given by the doctor. After a week she still felt the same, and I needed an inhaler. We ended up reaching out to our respective doctors via chat on the same day. I received a response within minutes, while she was left on read indefinitely. She hasn’t made it through the night without waking us both up coughing, so I urged her to reach out again and book a new appointment. The doctor did not listen to her concern, insisted it was allergies, and refused any other care plan besides over the counter allergy medicine. I think we are all aware of the discrepancy between the respect that white suffering has as opposed to when poc need medical help. It has been clearly documented that poc are not taken as seriously in medical settings. This has been a wonderful place for me to receive medical care, but if you or a loved one is poc I would not trust them with your health. We will be finding a more reputable clinic that cares about everyone.

I went to Carbon Health in Echo Park on a Sunday afternoon as a walk in with a painful uti. I received excellent care and all staff were very attentive and caring. The loft-like facility is beautiful and clean. It was the best urgent care experience I have ever had. So nice to know that I have an excellent care option in my neighborhood that takes my insurance. The app works great too.

I needed immediate care for an infection and walked in without an appointment. I didn't have to wait long and treatment was careful and considerate. I was given an injection of antibiotic and a prescription. I felt much better by the end of the day due to the good healthcare I received there.

Horrible place. They refused to even see me. They pointed me to other urgent cares and then quickly closed shop (I went there an hour before closing).

Look man maybe it’s an outlier or something but I signed up for a Covid test appt thinking it would be in and out, and I had to wait like an hour when no one was there on a Friday afternoon. I just think you gotta put some kind of priority on stuff that actually only takes like 5 minutes

I had a pretty intense foot laceration this week and immediately went to Carbon Health. The staff took amazing care of me and treated my wound with the upmost and thorough care and attention. They helped manage my pain to the best of their ability, were patient, and kind. I received X-rays, a tetanus shot, and 9 stitches, and paid for it all out of pocket; it was fairly priced and affordable. My wound is healing wonderfully, and I know I can go in for a free wound check if I ever need. I can’t thank them enough!

Carbon Health is terrific. Scheduling is easy on the app, checking in takes two seconds, and they’re always on top of things and friendly. Couldn’t recommend the Echo Park location enough

Love Carbon Health and the providers there. I make my appts online and there’s hardly any wait when I get it. They are clean, quick, and always ask if I have any questions or concern. If you have the app, they deliver all the results on your phone. Super convenient.

We fell in the street and got a big open wound that needed stitches. Carbon Health was great, they took care of me really fast, and great service. Got 7 stitches, and an appointment to removed them after 2 weeks. Just got them removed, was not painful at all.

I had such a great experience, I came in for a covid test (no symptoms) after I had been exposed. Carrie walked me through the different kinds of tests and helped me make the best decision about when to get tested and which test to take to get the most accurate results. I definitely recommend visiting this clinic. Thank you Carrie for the excellent care!

I had a few very positive experiences with carbon with getting my vaccine and COVID tests. I got a very bad stomach flu and decided to use them for urgent care. The staff was excellent, got me into see a great doctor very fast! They took great care of me and Im on the road to recovery. Highly recommend carbon.

I’ve visited Carbon a few times. Originally I avoided because it seemed gimmicky but they’ve provided the best care out of any provider, including my primary, since I’ve moved to LA nearly 7 years ago.

Having been to Carbon Health for both primary and urgent care over the past several years, I've never had less than a wonderful experience. There is little to no wait time in-office, the staff is professional and knowledgable, and the facilities are spotless. The app makes all paperwork, prescriptions, accessing records, and virtual care a breeze. Truly a fantastic provider and I wish more medical facilities in LA functioned this way.

I was first introduced to Carbon Health when booking a Covid vaccine, but discovered that I can also see a Primary Care Physician through them as well. I love that their physical offices are very modern and clean, and the best part is that their mobile app is very easy to use and all your records are digitized. And best of all, I can message my doctor when I have a question and she responds really quickly through the app!
