Carbon Health Urgent Care Indio (formerly MedPost Urgent Care)

Wait time was over an hour when I made an appointment on line for a specific time. Several folks who arrived after we did were in and out before we got in so that left us frustrated. Once we saw the Dr it wasn’t 4 min that she saw us and got us the prescription we needed. Nice people though.

No waiting time with the scheduled appointment! Clean clinic and nice personnel! 45 min for Covid, FLU virus test!

Fast, professional, clean environment. As self pay, the prices were as stated on the website. No hidden charges. I made an appointment online to be seen within an hour of when I booked it. Was seen promptly at my appointment time. They had appointments for Urgent Care available every 15 minutes all day. Overall great experience. Way cheaper, faster, and much higher quality compared to a hospital based Urgent Care.

It was easy to make an appointment online. Kind receptionist, nurse and Nurse Practioner. Less than 1/2 hour visit.

We have received good care @CarbonHealth. Easy access, parking. Friendly staff, all very knowledgeable. This is our go-to for medical related care. Definitely recommend.

I’ve been here a couple of times and have been referred to the ER for conditions they told me were dangerous and needed to be addressed in a hospital setting…. Only to have basic labs drawn and prescriptions for basic medications / antibiotics written for me at the hospital. They are very quick, very kind, and a very clean facility… but I feel like unless you’re going there for something basic like a cold/flu or a physical exam for work or something like that… you’re better off just heading straight to the ER. I can’t imagine myself returning.

I came in without an appointment and was seen relatively quickly. I was able to get test results for strep & COVID pretty quickly as well. Thankfully, both negative. The staff was friendly as well.

My experience at CH was a great experience! From the welcoming reception area to how quickly I was seen by the nurse and nurse practitioner who listened to my health concern and offered professional support and results. Thank you Carbon Health for changing my negative views on seeking medical care at an Urgent care facility. Carbon Health in Indio, CA gives 5 star service better than my primary care office that requires you to have an appt and you sit waiting for an hour after your appt time. Carbon Health is well lighted and super clean! 5 's Carbon Health! Bravo

Second time visiting Carbon a health in indio, not like you normal urgent care where you wait, was a walk in patient and was in and out. Staff was nice and friendly!

I was told when I checked in it would be a 30 minute wait, I have been here more than 2 hours and have not been called in yet. It would of been beneficial to know ahead of time that there's only 3 staff members in this urgent care and due to that and appointments the wait would be longer. Apparently they close for lunch from 12-12: 30 but provider has to take care of patients waiting in lobby before leaving to lunch. I was just informed by front lady that doctor is in the middle of a procedure and might take her longer if we want to reschedule or wait, I am pretty sure this is a lame excuse to go to lunch and have us wait more. This urgent needs to be well staffed if they are going to take as many patients as they did or be honest and inform them of the long waits.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL cost. They overcharged me and never sent a bill until a year later. IT is impossible to get a hold of someone. My copay for urgent care is $20 and they put in codes to apply my deductible even though my deductible doesn't apply to urgent care visits. I have called, emailed and NOT one person has called or emailed me back to settle this matter. Anthem dropped their contract with them because of how horrible their billing is. That speaks volume right there.

The entire experience was great. I was able to make an appointment online, but walk-ins are welcome. I was seen promptly and the exam went smoothly.
They even ran a COVID Test which proved to be negative. I walked out with a prescription along with instructions to rest and call them if I did not improve.

The office surroundings are very pleasant, the staff is very nice and helpful. I can highly recommend this medical office.

I have never been to this clinic before yesterday. It was clean, beautiful, and location was a plus because it wasn’t too far from my house. Staff was friendly and they were quick to have me in and out of there in a timely manner.

WARNING IF YOU HAVE ANTHEM INSURANCE. Carbon Health staff didn’t bother to inform me that Anthem was no longer accepted at their clinics and surprised me with a nearly $400 bill for some labs. They used to take Anthem, so this was my go-to urgent care; however, they just recently stopped taking Anthem and didn’t bother to tell me.

The clinic was clean and efficient and conveniently located for me. I was seen within 30 min.

I was able to call and book an appointment for the time we would be traveling thru Indio with a sick child. We arrived 15 min early and they got us right in. Everyone I encountered was super friendly and helpful.

Great place and staff! I was pressed with time for my son to get his sports physical done. The receptionist (Luz) was great over the phone and helped me with a same day appointment. Upon arriving, I was acknowledged by the Medical Assistant with a greet and smile as Luz was helping another Patient. The Medical Assistant and Provider were very professional and made us feel welcomed. My Son and I were extremely great full with the experience from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Highly recommend Carbon Health Urgent Care Indio.
