I'm very pleased with them. Only thing is trying to get ahold of them when you call. I was on hold for almost one hour.

Extremely disappointed with the service at this Hyundai dealership. Despite having a scheduled appointment for a service and recall, upon arrival, I was informed that they were closing, rendering my appointment pointless. The lack of respect for customer time and disregard for appointments is utterly frustrating and unacceptable

Can only say nice things here because there not been a single unpleasant experience I've had after all the many times I've gone into here. Everyone's experience may be different but mine was always great. I really appreciate the customer service, quality car maintenance on my car, and the waiting room has a TV with lounge chairs and is provided with a keurig to use whenever you need a coffee break. I like using their bar to get on my laptop and get work done all while my car is worked on. Thanks for providing great care and energy all around!

I hate leaving negative reviews, but they still have my car. Mind you I just purchased this preowned car 4 months before the engine blew. Thank God for insurance. One of the sales managers tried to convince me to commit insurance fraud, and drop the car on the boarder, so I can bye another car from them, because the car isn't worth what I'm paying for it. What!? Please think twice before taking your car here. Try Glendale, or another dealership. Full story below.

I took my car in for a short block replacement 4 months ago, and they still have my car! That wouldn't have been a problem originally, but after the first month of waiting for the block to be delivered I was told it would take 2 weeks to be completed. They proceeded to lie to me every 2 weeks after for 3 months. I dealt directly with the manager of the service departments Jose, and Joey, so I thought I could trust what they said the delays were. I finally went to check on my car. I went directly into the garage. My car had no engine, and no tires! I was told they were checking a check engine light problem. They finally gave me a loaner car, and said it would be ready Monday, that was a month ago. They also are charging me 600 out of pocket for belts because my insurance doesn't cover it.

“BEWARE”
DO NOT HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED AT CARDINALEWAY HYUNDAI IN EL MONTE. THEY TRY TO UPSELL SERVICES YOU DON’T NEED AND THEY DON’T EVEN SERVICE YOUR CAR. PLEASE READ MY STORY

We had an early appointment Saturday, March 18,2023, to take in our Hyundai Sonata for an oil change and service to CardinaleWay Hyundai of El Monte. This was our first time coming in after they changed ownership to CardinaleWay.
We had a bad experience at CarinaleWay Hyundai in Glendora and hoped this would not happen here.

We waited a bit, and then the service advisor waited on us. From the start, something felt way off; this advisor checked under the car hood and told us to get the belt replaced, and the radiator coolant needed to be flushed out. This was after a 3-second visual inspection. What? My husband took a look at the belt and said it was fine. I don’t ever remember having an advisor look under the hood and give a diagnosis on what the car needs. This guy checks you in and has you sign the paperwork. He’s not a mechanic! We knew he was trying to upsell us on unnecessary repairs.

We sat in the office, and I asked what the cost would be to replace the belt and have the radiator flushed. The total would be $700 to have these two items done. I looked over at my husband, and the advisor blurted out, “So he’s paying for it. ” with a smirk. Meaning my husband was the decision maker and was paying for the service. What the hell! I know he wouldn’t say that to a man. It took all I had not to give this guy a piece of my mind.

We decided on the preferred service for the car that covers the oil change, air filter, and the basic stuff to have done when you take in your vehicle. My husband and I left and questioned whether they would service the car. It was so strange that we even had to ask ourselves this. We arrived to pick up the car. I went inside to take care of the bill. I tried to pay the invoice with my business credit card and was told they would charge me a 3% service fee if I used my credit card. Service fee for what? I was paying the bill, and you should be able to use your credit card without being charged a fee by the dealer. The only forms of payment are cash and debit. I paid $262.89. I’m convinced they want you to pay cash or debit, so you have difficulty disputing any charges.

While still at the dealer, my husband checked under the hood and found the windshield washer reservoir was bone dry. We spoke to the manager, and he made up an excuse and took the car back to have some put in. They didn’t even top off the washer fluid. My husband checked the car this morning. The engine looked untouched, as if no one had worked on the car. You can tell because there is an accumulation of dirt on the engine and no fingerprints. This is what my husband found when he inspected the car:

1. The oil was dirty and dark, and had not been replaced.
2. The oil was overfilled way above the required measurement for the oil.
So this means they probably added oil over the old oil that should have been replaced.
3. The air filter for the engine was dirty and had not been replaced.
4. The windshield fluid was not topped off and was bone dry the day the car was serviced.

We do not know if they changed the oil filter. If the oil is dirty, it’s almost 100% sure the oil filter was not replaced.
We don’t think they even did any other items we paid for on the preferred services list.

***Check out the pictures***

Another thing to add… The advisor, told us there were no technicians on the weekend and only fluid technicians but recommended for us to have the belt replaced, and the radiator flushed. If I had paid for these services, would I have gotten the service I paid for? Highly unlikely. I wonder how many hard-working people have been scammed like us.
I’m appalled and angry. I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and dispute the charge with the dealership and my bank. They get 0 stars for this review. You never screw around with people that put their trust in your service.

OMG I bought a new car! I wish, I had a recall on my car so I took it in. I would have been in and out but they showed me my oil and suggested an oil change I new I needed one but it’s expensive to get one at a dealer but Saul who was helping me only charged me 63 which isn’t bad.
The 2024 cars they have now I wish I could buy a new one but I was naughty this year so Santa said clean up your act and maybe next year!
As CardinaleWay Hyundai of El Monte I give it a 4 ️, service is great there! During my wait they gave me chips also had candy oh and there was free water and coffee! Those are important to offer right in case you want to buy a car and have your little children with you! Stop by and see these guys!

"Come in today and we will give you the best black Friday deal". Was offered $1000 a month to LEASE an Ioniq 5. Insane deal right? These people like to waste your time. I do not recommend.

I've called four times today to try and talk to someone in the service department. Put on hold each time (one lasting over 15 minutes). I need to talk to someone before making an appointment to bring in my call due to a recall notice. This is the second Hyundai dealership in Southern California that I've tried to deal with. Needless to say, we will never buy another Hyundai again.

It wasn’t the easiest day, as problems with my vehicle kept increasing throughout the day, but Saul kept me up to date and both he and some other team members checked on me.

I gave 5 stars because service was great. Buying three cars from this dealership under three different names. But Cardinale way El monte is great.went to my First service for my 2023 Hyundai tucson. Does not matter who it' was they Greeted me What makes the business is the people that surrounds it. This is a great place to buy a car Never under pressure I will always return and thankyou.

LAZY AND INCOMPETENT SALES STAFF

My wife and I wanted to get a specific 2023 Hyundai model and trim, at the end of the car year. There were only two left in a 250-mile radius from us. This dealership had one, so we reserved it and drove 5 hours from Arizona to buy it. Before we departed, it took over 8 hours to arrange our deal. It was done by text messages, even though I asked it to be done by e-mail for proper record keeping, when I’m spending over $40,000 on this vehicle. It was also hard to find out the specific person I was dealing with. Finally, I learned it was the internet sales manager (Joselyn Quintero).

When we arrived at the dealership to finalize the purchase, we dealt with the finance manager (Omar Palazzo). I found my credit had been run THREE times to approve me for a Hyundai Finance loan. I have an excellent credit score. Each one affects my credit score, and this was completely unnecessary. What other business have you ever dealt with where your credit was run THREE times for one transaction?

I brought in a CA DMV One Trip Permit and my insurance card because I told Omar I do not want it registered in California. This permit is the legal way to move the vehicle to Arizona so I could register it there the next day. Omar ignored this and made out a non-operation registration with CA DMV. Now the CA DMV will unnecessarily hound me for fees for future renewals.

I also provided the finance manager Omar with a list of documents I needed to be sent to the Arizona DMV for me to register it there. According to the Arizona DMV, this is standard practice that dealerships in California forward this package. Arizona DMV would not register it until they got the paperwork. However, I later found out that this dealership not only did NOT do this, they refused to do it.

For the next week I tried to get hold of the general sales manager (Ron Williams) by e-mails, phone calls, and text messages. Only one time did he respond to me (by phone). He said the dealership would not be sending the necessary forms, and to contact Hyundai Finance to get a copy of the title for my Arizona registration.

I was able to get a temporary registration in Arizona but I had to wait two months for Hyundai Finance to send me a certified copy of the title, so I could properly register my car in Arizona. I was advised when I registered my vehicle that Hyundai Finance is one of the most uncooperative manufacturers to deal with, since they refuse to send all the paperwork out-of-state.

Next time I will pay more attention to the customer ratings on Google, Yelp, the Better Business Bureau, CarGurus, and Dealer Rater. On these web-sites I later found this dealership has very low ratings and lots of horrible reviews. Suffice to say, I recommend everyone to avoid doing business with this dealership.

In person answering the service call (Reily Kia never answer in person, no retiring call from them as well) I own 2018 Kia Soranto. Need 100k service & front break job along with driver side heater blowing cold air.
I called Reily Kia 2 times & left msg. No returning call. I asked if Palmdake Hyundai can do the service for my Kia Soranto.service man verified with his supervisor then gave me OK to preform the service. Very professional & client driven services!
