I am sad to write this review but feel I must in order to protect others from being seriously injured like I was. We bought a Blix Ebike assembled by the store. Unbeknownst to us, the bike hadn't been probably assembled. The front wheel came off while I was riding it on vacation for the first time ever and threw me head first onto the dirt path. My head hit a rock (fortunately I had a helmet on), my right shoulder was cut open, my right forearm significantly bruised and bleeding, my leg bruised and two of my ribs were fractured. Carlsbad EBikes and More's negligence seriously injured me and it will take 6 weeks for my ribs to heal. The injury could have been a fatal one. When we returned from Utah we called the store. The owner was very apologetic and upset that the bike was not assembled correctly. He did a service on the bike which we appreciated but nonetheless the salesperson should have run through the bike with us and checked that it was in working order. It was BRAND New. The salesperson also billed us wrong and we had to return to correct it. If you buy from this store, be sure to have the bike carefully checked out before you ride it so you don't suffer the serious injuries I suffered. For this reason, I cannot recommend Carlsbad E Bikes.
I highly recommend this place. Really great customer service. Called around a few places before calling here and everyone was either too expensive or just didn't pick up. Thomas came out and even unloaded my jogging stroller and took it to the back without me asking. I really appreciate thomas and David for getting me in and out quickly. Will definitely return.
Awful awful people. They sell you a bike and trick you into opening up a credit card to help loan it to you and when you ask to see your application they say they don’t have it. You try to return the bike within ONE WEEK of having it.they want to charge you a 20% stocking fee on top of not receiving the 125$ for setting it up but watch them use that on someone who wants to buy it. I don’t understand how this is legal. Just buy the bike from the online platform because they give you 30 day return policy and I can’t even use that because I was stupid enough to trust them and buy it through them.
Diego is the man! He fixed my rad runner e bike when it would not turn on, he is the best! He also fixed my super 73… these guys are awesome and easy to work with. I will always bring my e bikes here when they need work.
Very friendly and nice people. Super flexible with scheduling discounts rates. Wish all businesses were as chilled as these guys.
I can not say enough positive things about this E-bike shop and the staff that work there, especially Diego in the repair shop. He's a exceptional E-bike mechanic with years of experience and that really knows his craft. He has done warranty work on our Pedego bikes at this shop and completely re-laced all of the spokes to the hub motor and the rim when needed. He has been very generous with his time when I have had questions on how the controller and different parts of our E-bikes function, and how to perform simple fixes that I could do myself (like replacing 2 spokes for my Pedego Interceptor) and answered my questions, no matter what they were. THANK YOU Diego for helping to keep our E-bikes running in top condition but most importantly for keeping my wife and I safe on our E-bikes when out riding, we just finished 4,000 miles on our E-bikes which would never have happened with out the expertise of Diego. So Thanks Again Diego for keeping us safe.
David and Everyone here were amazing helping us choose the right bike. Even took time to just ride around with us on various bikes and helped me install my surfboard rack. 10/10 service
I live in Carlsbad and I have been at this store probably five times and every single time I have been there, the customer service has been pretty much non existent.
I have either been completely ignored or talked to like they are doing me a favor.
I ended up buying my bike, rack and accessories at the La Jolla location and my experience was awesome.
Today my husband went to this location with the intention of purchasing a new bike to save the drive to La Jolla and nobody came to help him or asked if he needed any help. And no, the store wasn't full of people so it's not like they were busy with other customers
Came in with my rad power bike that had a small issue.diego knew exactly what was up and fixed it in like 10 seconds at no charge.when i asked to pay his response was “i’m more happy to have helped save your vacation”. What a guy!

Pedigo bikes are rad. I got a used bike there recently and couldn't be more pleased. On top of that, the guys that work there are awesome. Diego, Thomas and David in particular have helped me since I purchased my bike. They filled my tires with air, and just today helped me put my chain back on. Good service is very important to me so I really appreciate their time and positive attitude.
The bikes are good however don't expect decent service when it comes to the bike repairs. The main bike mechanic is rude and takes forever, I believe his name is Diego. Took 2 weeks for them to work on bike and never checked in or updated me.
I understand my bike has a labor intensive issue, however there has been no attempt to update me and it seems as if they have not prioritized my bike just because it will take longer.
It should be a first come first serve, instead, easier fixed keep getting prioritized over mine. If it was just that I wouldn't be too mad, however the added rudeness from your head mechanic really isn't a good look though. Please consider this if you're the manager of pedego
The service department was fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable and fast. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.
