Carlsbad French Pastry Cafe

Very nice place. My crepe was tasty and filling and the chai latte was very good. I like their menu very much.

It’s not too bad, but it’s not French, only French style. Also, the quiche was very soggy.
I was disappointed that a French bakery with a French owner would also lower their standards to only make vanilla eclairs covered with chocolate glazing, as you can find in any supermarket bakery. If you’ve ever been to France, they usually have chocolate, vanilla or coffee eclairs with the corresponding glazing. It seems impossible to find that here, even in a place that calls itself “French”

The best cakes and they can even do a custom design as well. Very friendly and places to sit down inside too.

We went on a trip for a birthday out of town and it was too long of a commute to bring a cake from home so we called the same day ahead of time to ask if they had pre made cakes and they did! Just a small birthday but this is 100 times better than a grocery store cake!

Almost everything I get here is great. The prices are a bit high for some things and the pistachio cake is very bland. The chocolate raspberry cake is absolutely decadent. The butter croissants are on point. Chocolate truffles are probably my favorite. Great breakfast but the espresso has a earthy (dirt) taste to it. It tastes like it smells when I clean my machine. Overall an absolutely wonderful place

Best Almond Horns EVER! So yummy! This bakery is perfect to meet up for a pastry and cup of coffee. Very friendly, clean, plenty of tables, ample parking and right off I5.

Truly truly love this place and the cakes. Came in to ask for how much a cake would be and the person who attended me was so rude and with an attitude. I definitely would've given this 5/5 stars but I will not accept this attitude especially for this girl charging way more. Don't know if she's allowed to change prices on her own. Hopefully management talks to Sandra about her attitude.
Overall the cakes are good will come back but would not go in if she's there attending again.

First time coming here and boy was it amazing. Super cute place even for pick up. The cheesecake was great and the breakfast pastries were to die for. If I were to have any criticism at all it would be that I wished they made a flaky pastry with lemon filling because that would be just the best from here.

A+ BEST Butter Croissants in North County San Diego. Many other delicious pastries and sweets also. You will not be disappointed.

I have been eating here for 10 years, best french onion soup in town and the mixed tart is a must!

Was visiting Oceanside and my sister recommended this place. I must admit, I ended up with THREE pastries. (I was tempted to get more but had no place to keep them fresh while traveling). They were ALL delicious!

They make good cakes/pastries, however they don’t make enough Chocolate Chip cookies as they are always out, disappointing for the kids as they won’t eat cranberry ones.

This a great bakery! I can say that having a lot of experience in both French and Italian bakeries, being born and raised in Italy! The chocolate almond croissant was the best I ever had, and the espresso was amazing too! I'll be coming with friends and family as much as possible, even if it's not on my daily commute to work yet. Highly recommended!
