Great store! Convenient do it yourself bathing stations, awesome food selection and knowledgeable staff!

I went to the carlsbad location on avenida encinas. They always have my cats favorite raw food by lotus. Tono was awesome and helped me get squared away! Thank you much!

Decent selection of canned and dry premium cat foods. Very nice and knowledgeable staff! They are always eager to help crazy people like us with our weird pet questions and needs.

We love this place! It's the only store I buy our dog food from. The staff is so knowledgeable. We were having issues with my dogs digestive track, if you know what I mean, and they made suggestions that have changed it all for us. My puppy no longer has that issue and I'm still amazed how well she is doing!

Love this place! The people are the best, real animal lovers. They have great products & energy. My dog literally dragged me in as we were walking by, I’m so glad he did.

I was at the store earlier today with my dog and the environment was extremely awkward and unfriendly. I’m used to Dexter’s Deli phenomenal service and friendliness with my pet and seeing that exact same energy towards other customers. Carlsbad Pet and Feed happened to be a store I passed by and because Dexter’s Deli is closed on Mondays, I decided to stop by Carlsbad Pet and Feed. I just saw the chicken snacks that my dog likes so I grabbed 3 of those and a young girl named Emily kindly helped me out. I grabbed my receipt and saw that the prices on the receipt did not reflect the prices that were labeled on the table. Emily explains to the older worker that their incorrect prices and it was indeed a mistake on their end. The older worker just gives her own coworker, Emily a long stare to embarrass her and said, “Don’t worry, we’ll fix it……” in a rude way. The older worker gives me a lame excuse and said “oh we increased our prices that’s why they were wrong labeled wrong on the table. ” And Emily pointed out that the dog treats had the wrong labels. What if my dog had an allergy? So bad. I wasn’t given the prices that were incorrectly labeled on their table, which would of been the right thing to do. Instead, I was refunded $0.17 cents lol because she said only one of the treats listed on my receipt was incorrect. I went through a hassle for 17 cents haha great.

Moral of the story is to CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS/ ASK FOR THEM TO BE PRINTED. AND TO GO TO DEXTER’S DELI INSTEAD! Visit there instead of Carlsbad Per and Feed and you’ll certainly tell the difference in customer service:)

She was incredibly knowledgable and helpful and i was very excited after talking to her and buying the products she recomended after looking for years for a resolution for my dogs. There are very few businesses that could even come close in matching the customer service that Carlsbad Pet and Feed provides. They take care of you, they listen to you, and they treat your pet as their own. Their products are of the highest level and they always make sure you are satisfied. I have to be honest, I've talked the owner's ear off (Karen) multiple times. She always makes time. I appreciate their amazing kindness and dedication to their customers. In this day and age, to find a business that remembers you each time you walk in the door is a rarity. Thank you for taking care of our dog and our community.

Stopped in here yesterday while visiting Carlsbad CA for some doggie poop bags (forgot to bring any on the trip) and was pleasantly surprised with the excellent (very low) price! The person working there was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go here again for any other dog needs when in the area.

As far as pet food industry now we feed our pets pig meat? I thought that was a no no?

Anyway I'm a big fan of home cooking and don't believe in feeding my pets little furry precious lambs, duck, and surely not pigs.
