Carmel Belle

Son wanted the tomato soup with a grill cheese but they were out if the tomato so offered him their French onion which wasn’t very good. But sandwiches and coffee was very good.

Today Feb 2nd I Ordered meatloaf sandwich with cheese. On ciabata bread. There was more cheese than meatloaf. Two thinly slices of meatloaf the thickness of a very flat pancake. The bread was 3-4 times the thickness of the meatloaf. A few leafy greens and a bowl of sauce. $17. Really poor. No idea of the portion size ahead of time for something so drastically misleading to the public. I will never be back.

The best place for a quite and great food! The breakfast croissants are my favorite along with a mimosa!

Healthy menu options with a beautiful patio to sit outside with pets. Service is excellent.

Good food, prices and service. Fun atmosphere. If you are looking for a casual, affordable and quick bite while in Carmel you should definitely put it on your short list.

Had the special, blackened rock cod sandwich. It was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. The bread is crusty but so soft, the fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My companions’ food was great too. I’ll definitely eat here again

Easily then best meal I’ve had in a year: Golden latte, Farmer’s Salad, and Poached Eggs with gluten-free bread. I wish I lived in Carmel to visit every day.

Meh, the tofu scramble was just okay, and parts of it tasted like it went bad. Was expecting so much more.

Happy there’s healthy options in Carmel but the food (sandwiches and salad) was a bit bland, nothing special but not awful.

Tasty pastries and breakfast items including smoothies galore. Dining area is fairly spartan and lacks charm but it works and the service is fast and friendly.

Just good coffee, nothing else to say.

I’ve been in the US for 2 months now and have missed a good cortado. Thank you Belle for reminding me

Thanks for putting milk products in my smoothy even though I asked you clearly NOT TO BECAUSE I’M ALLERGIC! Been in the bathroom all day sick. I’m just glad it happened to me and not some kid that would need to be hospitalized.

Carmel Belle is one of our favorite spots for breakfast in Carmel by the Sea. Everything I’ve ordered has always been excellent! Highly recommend the tofu scramble, the cinnamon toast and smashed potatoes. The smoothies and juices are delish. Great vegan options!

They won't let you use the restroom unless you purchase something, and they don't remember you just bought something.

Nice atmosphere but as a breakfast place they should be embarrassed about their poached egg sandwich. Served to me with a 6 inch loaf with one small poached egg and bacon strips just slapped on the plate. For $15? Don’t want to write this place off, but if you can’t do a bacon egg and cheese and it’s the first item on your menu, you’ve got problems.

Oh, and the customer next to me was clearly just as dismayed - she got rid of half the bread, as did I.

Stopped by for gluten free breakfast options on the way to Big Sur. We had the open faced bacon, egg, arugula and avocado toast on really yummie GF bread. Super quality ingredients. Charming locale. Highly recommend.

We were THRILLED to enjoy a vegan breakfast here! Staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Tofu scramble, VLT, matcha and chai tea lattes with soy milk, and a blueberry banana walnut muffin! Would definitely return!
