Hosted my group of groomsmen for haircuts and beard trims on the morning of my wedding - Jerry was incredibly kind and great at his job. Appointments are done over the phone and payment is cash only.

We wandered into Carmel’s Barber, drawn by the beautiful potted flowers lining the pathway and were delighted by the warm and inviting shop - Jerry was able to fit my mom in for a trim, despite us not having an appointment. His place is welcoming, stylish, and the service is excellent!

Carmel's Barber is a rare quiet hideaway for a haircut and Jerry is very personable. Find your way there and you won't be disappointed! I made an appt the day before and pleased to have found my way in.

When I arrived, I needed a haircut desperately ahead of a conference that night. Jerry welcomed me for a cut, but admitted he was cash only. I had no access to cash and despaired of getting no haircut in Carmel altogether. Yet. Jerry offered a haircut and said I could send him a check from LA later. He delivered an amazing buzz cut, and I promised to pay him back. I managed to get some cash from a coworker to hold up my end of the deal.

Was in town for a visit to the West Coast. Jerry gave me a great cut. Really nice guy, and very pleasant. It was a nice break while my wife was shopping in town. Made the day because I couldn't get a cut prior to leaving for Carmel.

Was in Carmel on vacation and decided to get a haircut. I found Carmel's Barber and thought I give it a try. I gotta say Jerry, the owner and barber, did a really great job on the style I wanted, which was a buzz cut/military style. Also a really friendly and down to earth kind of guy. Shared some really great stories while he was doing his thing. Definitely reccomend Jerry and his barbershop. Just a heads up, it is by appointment. So do give Jerry a call by his business number before you go in.
