Carousel Bakery Palm Springs

The Carousel Bakery in the El Cielo Center adjacent to Palm Springs International Airport, is a small family business. This small bakery sells an assortment of fresh pies, cakes, danish and French pastries. They bake their own bread, which you can sample if you order one of their delicious handcrafted sandwiches.

I was dropping off a friend at the airport, and we stopped to have lunch at the Carousel Bakery. The sandwiches (Turkey Club on Sourdough and Cream Cheese and Salami on Rye) were beyond delicious, they were outstanding! We tried an eclair and a Napoleon for dessert, and I can’t wait to go back!

The bakery is impeccably clean, the service was excellent, and the food and baked goods were beautifully prepared and delicious. Go see for yourself and tell them Roy sent you!

I would post a picture, but the items were devoured when we got home. You are going to struggle to locate Suite 5 in this strip mall. Pro tip 1 - start at the convenience store and count to the right 2.3.4. Suite 5! You'll laugh that you didn't notice the teal letters above that read, "BAKERY! " Pro-tip 2 - order your latte or mocha and let them work on that while you decide (their usual customers will have zero patience for you dottling in line.) Focus on the two cases and decide quickly. Do not miss cinnamon roll, muffins or bear claw. Also, hand pies are pretty killer hiking grub. Collect coffee, pastries and REMEMBER TO TIP, then collect your citrus fruit as a reward for being a decent human. Eat outside, or better yet, poolside. Fair warning: almonds and powdered sugar will be EVERYWHERE. Enjoy!

Stopped for a coffee, found a treasure of cakes that so tempted me. My residence was fed with creamer cheese and toasted bagel. It has moved just a few doors down.

Best sandwich I have ever tasted in Palm Springs after living here 21 years. Pastries and PIES homemade and sensational. Do not miss this terrific bakery and eatery.

They sell a lot of fresh baked cakes by the slice and pasteries. I love their individual pound cakes. Also available Panini sandwiches and coffee. I only gave 4-stars since the pricing is a little high compared to other similar style bakerys in the area.

Went to this place looking for a birthday cake for my father in law. They only had slices but offered to make us a cake from scratch and and it was ready in about 30 minutes! Very good and they were super nice!

Such a great little bakery right by the Palm Springs Airport. Came here twice during my 2.5 day visit to the area. Prices are very reasonable. The food was amazing, the smoothies were delicious and the customer service cannot be beat! Will be back again next time I’m in town! Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Amazing bakery. Good selection and really good. Pan dulce, Cake and pies and doggie treats. Sandwiches and wraps are also available.
