I took my 2017 Civic that had been in a multi-car accident, with both the front and the back side damaged to CarStar for the first time and right from the start I was very impressed by the friendly service. The bumpers and the grills as well as the hinges were noticeably damaged. Kenny handled the process from the start to finish all along giving me confidence and putting my mind at ease that my car is in good hands.
The car took less than half the time to finish than originally estimated and the finished product was as good as new.
They spared no expense and did not cut any corners.
What was delivered was above and beyond my expectations and way more than what Kenny and CarStar had promised.

Our car needed a front bumper replacement. We were kept informed of the status of the job throughout. Problems were explained, the solution found and described and we were told the resolution. The job was completed in under the originally estimated time.
In addition, the quality of the work was outstanding. As a courtesy Carstar Douglas even went over the entire car and touched up small flaws some of which I had not thought important enough to mention. This extra work was done at no cost to us or to the insurance company. The people we interacted with were always friendly and courteous.

We are very thankful to have Carstar Douglas Auto Body repair our car after a hit and run incident. Special thanks to Armen, Zaven (Kevin) and Arshag for providing an exceptional customer service; and above all, the repair to the body of our car was spotless.

Due to Tesla’s restrictions, I could not use my regular body shop and had to use Douglas Auto Body/Carstar. I was not happy about that but Douglas won me over. Special thanks to my contact person, Josue Espinoza, who kept me fully informed about the status of the repair work. The work they did was gorgeous. They did a beautiful job matching the new paint to the six-year-old paint on the rest of the car and new pieces were set correctly. Highly recommend.

This is my 3rd vehicle I’ve had repaired @ Carstar Douglass Auto Body. They have always done an incredible job they exceeded my expectations once again. I had just purchased a Land Rover Defender and had less than 500 miles on the vehicle when someone decided to push there shopping cart into my 2 passenger doors and leave a crease and scratching in each door. I brought my Tesla Model 3 in on 10/22/22. Arshak was very helpful. I never trust insurance body shop because they don’t care how it gets fixed. We had some hiccups with my insurance but Arshak worked with me to resolved the issue. I have a 30days car rental agreement with my insurance and the body shop completed the repairs within 20 days. That’s super fast. I didn’t think that was possible. They are the best body shop in the Los Angeles area for Tesla cars. It’s no wonder they have great reviews and ratings. They are willing to work with you. In the past, I had brought my car to another body shop and the job wasn’t as great as this body shop. I highly recommend them to fix your car especially for Tesla owners. Thank you Carstar for a wonderful service.

I did not have a good experience using CARSTAR Douglas Auto Body. I would not use their services again and do not recommend. If any representative from CARSTAR is reading this, the rating and recommendation is not attributed to receiving an incorrect part and delaying the repair completion. The rating is due to the quality of repair and experience.
Considering the intricacies of doing body repair and painting, you would expect the professionals working on your vehicle to display an immense attention to detail. The staff at CARSTAR scratched the bumper and dirtied and damaged parts of the interior. They were obligated to paint my bumper to fix the scratch they did, which in turn caused more inconvenience for additional repair and having to bring my car back. To their credit, CARSTAR provided a rental as part of their remediation.
After observing a lack of attention to detail and being able to execute properly, I was weary to request repair to the interior damage they caused in fear they would only do more damage. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
At the end of the day, when you bring your vehicle in for repair, you do so with the expectation that you'll get it back in as good as new condition. This is where they missed the mark and what puts doubt into into the quality of their workmanship. I'm hoping none of their repairs on my vehicle fail or deteriorate, requiring me to return back for additional repairs.

Carstar Douglas Auto Body repaired the door for my vehicle in an extremely timely manner. My Toyota looks as though nothing ever happened to it! Arshak and Armen were very attentive and catered to all my needs as a customer! I have been to their shop various times, and would not think about going elsewhere! From the second I walked in, I was met by friendly staff members who all made sure I had been helped. The office staff even offered coffee and pastries that were brought in! I had various questions all of which were answered by the knowledgeable shop manager Arshak. Picking up my vehicle was a breeze and hassle free. Got into a minor incident and the bumper and lights on my 3 month old Model 3 were cracked. Very glad I chose this place for repairs! They are Tesla certified and know their stuff. Ended up replacing the bumper and right head/fog lamps as well as parking sensor. I was helped by Josue and he was very on top of letting me know the progress. When it was done the car looked better than when I took it in. Very pleased with their work.

My car got hit on the back passenger door and above the frame of the wheel. I contacted a few auto repair shops. Carstar Douglas came to the rescue after another shop ghosted me. Steve helped me out with the difficult insurance company representative. He was very professional and informative about the steps I needed to take and kept me updated with the repairs. The process went along smoothly. Would recommend.

The damaged area at the rear of the car looks brand new, and they finished the job early! They also replaced both the headlight and fog light bulbs simply because they were out. I was rear ended! The headlights weren’t even part of the initial repair, but they cared enough about me, my car, and my safety to replace the bulbs. These guys are GREAT!
