Great shop! I was traveling through town and in a rush to find a Tesla select body shop to repair my Tesla and these guys were above amazing! Exceptional and prompt service and knowledgeable staffs.
It’s hard to find a good honest shop and this is one of them!
My Tesla came out beautiful like brand new! 10/10 would recommend.

Best car service center in LA! I dropped my car off after a hit and run and they were able to fix my car quickly and efficiently! The prices are also very reasonable! They also clean and vacuum the inside and outside of your car when you go to pick it up! The staff here are also very nice and truly want to help you. Shout out to Mark! He is the absolute best!

The first time I left the car, he was very kind, but as the days went by, he didn't answer the phone and didn't explain. The disloyalty is extreme. It seems it took a month to fix a few scratches.

I got my Tesla Model Y here fixed- the communication and timing was amazing and I would highly recommend them if you need any servicing done! The pricing is good and I went to three dif auto shops before and I ended on this one and I'm so glad I did!

I found this body shop because it is one of the few places that contract with Tesla and Infinity Insurance. After the repair being done, I should say it is pretty good one with the price, customer services and time. I will recommend this body shop to friends.

First I want to start off by saying that this place is top tier in customer service and repair. For once at a mechanic shop I felt my car was a priority, and not just an extra expense. Mark is such a cool person, and his staff! 10/10 recommend!

UPDATE: My car is at a new bodyshop and they can't get new parts because carstar lucky made my clean title into a salvage title. Still getting it fixed but had no issues until this review was made. Avoid this place unless you enjoy pain and suffering mentally

Avoid this body shop at all costs. My experience with them was absolutely terrible from start to finish. First of all, scheduling the repair and dropping off my car seemed smooth, but that's where the positive aspects end. They insisted on keeping my car for the entire repair duration, even if they were just waiting for parts, which could take up to 5 weeks. Keep in mind that my car was still drivable, but they claimed it was necessary to disassemble it for proper repairs. I had my accident in March 2023 and decided to schedule the repair in May while I would be away. Little did I know that this would turn into a nightmare. I made sure to point out all the damages, including a significant dent on the side and several door dings, during the initial estimate. However, the manager, Han, conveniently omitted the smaller dent from the estimate. Despite State Farm approving the repair, I politely asked Han if he could include the smaller dents as well. Instead of taking responsibility and assisting me, he told me to contact State Farm myself, which seemed like a reasonable request considering it was my first claim ever. This simple question infuriated him, and he rudely suggested I go to another body shop. After some back-and-forth on the phone, Han reluctantly agreed to continue the repair. I reached out to State Farm to inquire about including the smaller dent, and they contacted the body shop on my behalf. To my surprise, Han abruptly changed his mind and told State Farm to send me elsewhere. This whole ordeal wasted months of my time, and the only reason behind it was the manager's ego. The level of unprofessionalism I encountered was astonishing. To make matters worse, after weeks of waiting just to get in. I had to spend three frustrating hours on the phone with State Farm just to arrange a tow truck to a different body shop to restart the entire process. If you enjoy stress, wasted time, and dealing with unprofessional individuals, then by all means, give this place a try. However, if you value your sanity and want a smooth and efficient repair experience, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this body shop.

Recently picked up my Jeep Wrangler and I have to say the shop did a great job. Yes, there were delays on parts that were out of their control but they were able to get me original parts so that was great. They pick up the phone right away and give you updates quick. Hopefully won’t need to use them again but if I do I will definitely be going back.

Had my catalytic converter stolen but CARSTAR LBS really helped me out by getting the part and fixing the car ASAP! Not only that, their customer service was amazing, every one of their staff was friendly and helpful. Would def recommend to others as well as come back for future repairs

Dropping off the car was fast and easy, I just handed over the keys and signed some documents (including authorizing repairs, acknowledging that parts may take longer to get, and acknowledging the absence of personal property inside the vehicle). They contacted enterprise who picked me up to go get my rental.

Their communication about my car was not good. I received incorrect information via text and incorrect information over the phone regarding the status/timeline of my vehicle.

At least I can say that Milton tried to provide a reason for delays, which was helpful. I found it very difficult to plan my car's pickup due to the inconsistent and inaccurate updates.

Ultimately, I picked up my car after 22 days for a back bumper replacement. After signing for my car, I was walked down an alleyway to a parking lot where my car sat with others. The car was clean.

They returned my key, moved another car out of the way, and sent me on my way.

They did not go over any repairs or discuss what had been done to the vehicle.

When I looked in my center console arm rest storage, an item was missing from my car. I contacted Paola at the front desk 3 days later via email (after taking the time to search my car several times thoroughly) to request that they ask the staff about the missing item. It was a portable car battery jumper with aligator clips purchased for around $120.

I received an apologetic response in a reasonable time that nobody on the team had seen the missing item, that I signed an initial authorization relinquishing their responsibility for missing items left in the vehicle, and that while the signed document does not mean items will be taken, it does mean they have no proof an item was taken or was there to begin with.

While it is unfortunate, I understand there is risk in trusting others with your personal items, that the items should have been removed from the vehicle, and that I signed a document stating the car was emptied of personal property. This was an experience from which I learned.

I write this review to accurately describe my experience with CARSTAR Lucky Body Shop. I leave one star because while there were many good aspects of the service (Paola always answers the phone, responds to emails, and works quickly; Milton is polite and informative, the repairs appear to be well-done, and they had appointments available on quick notice) I would not return to this particular body shop because I would not trust them again. They should also try to communicate more accurate information to their clients regarding repairs and timelines (other reviews mention this point as well).
