Many issues upon checkin. First, this is not a 4 star hotel for several reasons. We weren’t granted the room we were promised. While I wanted a different room type, someone else apparently booked it just before me. So I settled for another room under the condition I was granted a room by the pool. This was verbally agreed to as I called the property to ensure this was the case before I booked. I also noted this when I made the booking and it was confirmed. Well, upon checkin, they “apparently” had many other guests who had the same request. Haha I’m so sure… anyway. Here for Coachella weekend and the pool is also shut for guests for a private party. Really? Nobody notified us before we arrived. No email, no notice when checked in. No communication what-so-ever. Left with the feeling that the staff lied just to get people to stay and pay a ridiculously high room rate for what reason? No pool? The wrong room?

One other thing, it’s very sunny in Palm Springs as we all know. Having the right window dressings make all the difference if planning to sleep in past sunrise.

Went out with my daughter for a quick 2 nights and it was perfect! Terrific staff, lovely rooms, delicious breakfast/food, gorgeous grounds and pools and perfect location! Will definitely return!

This isn’t a 4 start hotel. Property is quaint, staff is friendly but for the $ you can do much better in PS. We had a room with a wood burning fireplace (really?) that smelled like a fire when you stepped in-that’s what you get with a fireplace. Fine for some, not for me. Walls are thin, the baby next door sounds like it’s in our room. There isn’t a lot of privacy in the room, granted we have a corner room so that adds to the noise/lack of privacy. My guess it will also be light at night looking at the weight of the curtains.

WiFi and cable were not working and we had to have someone reset the heater in the room. The staff was helpful in getting things resolved but it was a lot for a one night stay.

Not awful but not a $600 stay.

Great location on a quiet street just a few blocks from Palm Canyon Drive. We did not have a car, so walked everywhere. Continual breakfast included. This is a welcome alternative to the big box hotels and resorts, plus love the history (it's the oldest hotel in Palm Springs).

We did enjoy our stay. This is a renovated but rustic cottage feel.
Pros
Clean, helpful staff, close to many restaurants, quiet, bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, awesome water dispensing machine in the lobby (cold, sparkling, hot, alkaline) healthy breakfast options (small menu), fruit trees, property is spacious and beautiful.
Cons
Room 30 had a lot of light coming into the room (if you are a black out window sleeper, you won’t like this room)

Overall, we would stay here again, just pick a different room location.

Absolutely loved our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! Awesome accommodations. The premises are calming and clean. The pools were awesome and I especially loved picking fruit and juicing them on the property. Really great breakfast and coffee in the morning. Will definitely be back!

Been coming to Cada Cody for past 9+ years from San Diego. Best Hacienda/Hideaway only outdone by the Team at Casa Cody. You've been there for my best (and worst) times. Slightly reluctant to do a review, selfishly, as I want to keep this gem a secret and all to myself.

To say that my husband and I loved this hotel would be understatement!
This is our new fav spot in Palm Springs hands down!
We came for a weekend stay and ended up extended a couple extra days because we could not bring ourselves to leave.
There are two picture perfect, heated swimming pools, gardens that you can pick and eat veggies from, and food that was out of this world!
The entire staff was beyond accommodating with EVERYTHING as well!
We are already planning our next weekend + a few week days back!
Thank you so much Casa Cody!
You guys are PHENOM! ️

This place is a hidden oasis in the heart of Palm Springs. I stayed here many times in the 90's with my family and have such fond memories of our time here. I've returned multiple times in the past year and everything on the property - the decor, the kitchens, the bedding, the pools, the service, the amenities - has been lovingly updated and restored by the new operators while still retaining the rustic charm and understated luxury of this historic hotel. I never want to stay anywhere else in the desert. Trendy hotels will come and go but there's truly no place like Casa Cody.

This place can be at times filthy and the employees seem to be clueless. Did no enjoy the hospitality from front desk. Will not return.

Such a special hotel. I am so happy I stayed here with my boyfriend this past weekend. The staff is outstanding and the rooms/decor are just stunning. Their alcoholic drinks are delish and pools are amazing. We had the room right in front of one of the pools and it made all the difference in 115 degree weather! Can't wait to be back already.

Thank you Casa Cody, we'll be back soon!

This is what a boutique hotel should be. 30 rooms with varying sizes to accommodate a variety of needs. Well curated amenities, thoughtful brand and product partnerships, food & beverage options that are hand selected, and an experience that always feels like an elevated version of your home. The grounds are beautiful with 2 pools, several grassy areas, gardens, fruit trees, and paths you can meander around. You never feel cramped. But you never feel too isolated either. We've been going to PS for decades now and have finally found our new go-to spot. Incredibly well executed boutique hotel.

Casa Cody is such a gem! I honestly will never stay elsewhere now that I discovered it. Why? Beautiful, clean, spacious rooms. 2 pools and a hot tub (yesss), amazing playlists by the pool (NPR style +), beautiful decor (hello SMEG fridge), complementary breakfast and coffee, gorgeous grounds and fruit trees you can pick oranges and figs from (and squeeze your own orange juice) + dog friendly which is major. For those reading this review: please don't steal my rooms there now that I told you about it because it needs to always be available to me for my much needed Palm Springs escapes!:) <3
