Casa De Fruta Market & Resort reviews
17We enjoy stopping here for snacks and a rest break. It is family oriented with places for kids to play. There is a candy store, a wine store and a restaurant available.
Ive always stopped here while driving to the coast and then back home. It always a great place to stop and stretch your legs and to get a bite to eat
Ate lunch in the resturant burgers with swiss cheese plus cherry pie & ice-cream which was all great! Server was exceptionally helpful she really ran the room. Best experience for food since we arrived 6 days ago. Well recommended.
Bought multiple nuts today and received a bag of walnuts with half of them rotten! See picture attached. Extremely disappointed because I live an hour away and they were expensive. $10/pound.
Fun selection of nuts, fruit and chocolate to buy. Only bathrooms between 101 and 5 on 152 so makes a great stop when traveling between Bay Area and LA.
Love stopping here every time I vacation out this way. They have great snacks and food here! Many exotic flavors to try. Their ice cream shop is amazing, and I love their sandwich shop! It's a must stop on your next trip!
Great place to stop at while you're traveling good ice cream good food great for the kids I enjoyed it a lot. If you never been here should definitely add it to your bucket list. It's so random because you were not expecting something to be so cool where it's at. But I highly recommend it
The place was very busy for being late in the afternoon. Looks like everything was open. Did see casa de cho cho running along with casa de carousel. Every indoor area requires a mask which is enforced by Santa Clara County so be kind and follow the rules.
Great place for kids. Loved the tiny train ride. It's 15 long ride and great fresh air. They had Santa's village up for the kids. Good idea to pack your own lunch and spend $4.50 for your single single scoop ice cream. Just a hint!
Wonderful place to stop in at, but so much to see that you should plan on spending time there. It's definitely not just a pit stop like I thought it was.
It is so Casa and very much Fruita. A nice place to get some fruit, a bite to eat, or walk around and see all of the cool stuff they have here.
Casa de Fruita is a nice stop on your way over the pass. Everything is priced for tourists, but gas, coffee, and a well-maintained public restroom all in one place is welcome. The deli sandwiches are very good, but the fresh fruits and vegetables are overpriced relative to the fruit stands just a few miles north.
Have visited this place since I was a child and it was a much simpler fruit stand and restaurant (anyone remember the Cup Flipper?). Quality always high and service friendly. This visit I walked in to get apricot pie, a rare delicacy even when in season, and they did not disappoint: I picked up two boxes and they were still warm from the oven. Heaven! Double-decker antique carousel, miniature train, wine bar, candy shop, motel, RV camping, and still the same coffee shop and farm stand make it a perfect stop on a journey or a weekend destination. Long may they prosper!
Always love casa de fruita. The little park is so cool. There is a turtle pond, play ground, little train ride, marry go round, a reastraunt ice cream wines it's a regular Bazaar
Do not buy the wine here it is cheap wine that is crafted horribly! This is not the traditional farmers market that I used to know years ago, It's more of a commercialized selling items that are not even farmers market anymore.
Fun, fresh, and always an interesting visit, you would be well-served to stop by Casa de Fruta for lunch and a bit of shopping from their impressive varieties of wine, nuts, and fruits.
Put together a Gift basket myself & they are so very kind to help pick the best fruits & even wrapp the gift. I definitely will visit here again.
