Casa Jimenez reviews
10Ordered Huevos Rancheros for myself and my wife. Said $10.95 online. When I arrived it was $13.52. To make it worse, no Ranchero sauce on my Huevos. Won't be rushing down here anytime soon. Go to Las Barcas.
I had the chimichanga and it was amazing! It came with rice, beans, guac and sour cream. Not to mention the tortilla chips they brought before the meal which were excellent also. My buddy had the Mexican pizza and he said that it was the best Mexican pizza he's ever had. So all in all it was a great experience and the waiter was super polite. There was not many people in the restaurant. It was very quiet and peaceful.
Fried mojarra leaves a lot to be desired, it's one of the worst I've ever eaten, I asked for something spicy and they give me pico de gallo, well, I recommend not asking for mojarras,
I love this place. Been going here for years, family owned and operated excellent food every time. Literally one of my families go to places for Mexican food for around 10yrs. So good.
Consistency is key. Casa Jimenez has stood the test of time in HB because of good Mexican staples, fair prices and great service. Mural art has a rustic feel, and typically no wait for seats. Can always catch a sports game, some tasty chips and salsa, and a cold cerveza when you visit this joint. Carnitas, Chile rellenos, and shrimp Diablo are on point and my goto's. Could have a bit stronger margaritas.
Yummy shrimp enchiladas, skinny margarita, and nachos.
Very quiet, family friendly, and the staff is super nice. Would recommend.
Love Casa Jimenez in La Puente the food is delectable and the servers are friendly and great at their job. Much better than another Jimenez Location.
We go there because my wife loves their Chili Rellenos. I like lots of other things on the menu, especially getting oysters on the half shell in the same place.
The food is really good, the employees are awesome, super friendly. The micheladas are amazing. I highly recommend it, I give it.
Today I went to this restaurant. My treatment was very bad. A man who was serving there, I stopped at the entrance of the restaurant and told me to wait and he was going to give me the table he wanted. I felt discriminated against because he looked at me from top to bottom just because go with my work clothes they should take more care of the clientele
