Cascade Falls Trailhead reviews
17We walked to the hike from town. It was a pleasant walk with lots of interesting homes to look at. The actual hike in the woods is very short but also pleasant. Easy for families with kids. On the way back we crossed the road and followed the trail further down and came out closer to town. That part of the trail had more difficult terrain.
Good short little trail to bring friends or family that aren't so interested in going very far. You can make it longer by following the trail on the upper side that goes behind the neighborhoods.
Very nice hike, free and a lot of fun.
Highly recommend checking out this waterfall and hiking spot.
Gorgeous short hike after visiting the Muir Woods. This is a must diversion and a hidden gem that it 100% worth the visit. Take on sounds and smells of nature here. Spend as long or as short as you wish. Either way you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful short hike to the falls. Make sure you cross the bridge if you want to be at the bottom of the falls. Take your time and see if you can find all of the little gnome homes along the way.
Great little spot. Those that said it’s a 10 minute hike were clearly also counting time to park, time to walk to it and back, and time to take pictures. It’s literally so close to where you park. The trees and fall are both beautiful. This area is in the middle of a peaceful, quiet neighborhood- please drive slowly to keep this from becoming inaccessible. I’ve seen far too many neighborhood hikes and waterfalls in upper peninsula Michigan become private and inaccessible due to visitors trashing the place and driving recklessly. There are only a handful of parking spots, but because the hike is so quick, people come and go very quickly. If you can’t find a spot, someone will come back in just a few minutes.
Super short hike but very cute that leads to the waterfalls. I was siked into thinking the uphill trail lead to woods, however, it led to roads which were also very nice to walk/jog on while admiring the beautiful homes tucked away in the scenery.
A cute little stop. Not many spots to park and not really a hike, but a nice beautiful nature stoll. Super nice to sit at the falls if it's not crowded.
Very beautiful forest with redwood trees, stream, and waterfalls! Takes less than 10 minutes to get to. The air is so crisp, the sounds of the stream are mesmerizing. Love this place!
Very beautiful sight to see, many tricky parts but worth it when you get to the waterfall. Yesterday was my first time also there's a downtown and bookstore close by.
Super easy to walk to and such wonderful clean and cold water. There is a couple places at the top of the falls to dip your toes and breathe in the smells of the redwood forest.
No bathroom access, from the parking lot which holds at most 5 cars. The falls are only 5-10 minutes away up a very easy path, a site that can be fully explored and walked in just under an hour unless you want to picnic and soak your toes a bit. Overall a lovely visit but not really much in the way of longer hiking trails
It is a very easy trail; from the road/lot to the falls it is literally less than a quarter mile.
We came yesterday afternoon to cascade falls. It was a great day for hike. This trail is shot and easy for all age levels. Walking to the water fall was super quick and easy the should train up and down is around 1 mile. I highly recommend bringing water and some comfortable shoes and enjoy the beautiful hike under the redwoods.
Beautiful waterfall hike! Cascade falls - mill valley
Perfectly okay to hike with your toddlers.got there at 10 am.
10 mins walk from the parking lot - Kid Friendly.
Parking wasn’t a problem (although there are only 4-5 car parking spots there) plenty of parking available up and down the hill!
Walk half a mile to the waterfall! — at Cascade Falls.
Beautiful fall n hike
The fall is small but lovely to see among the trees
While top of the point in the hike may not be as scenic as one wud imagine to go first time.
Small n pretty easy hike even 3 yrs olds could easily manage.
Parking have limited space (maybe around 8-10). If you don’t get it park it on your way and walk it up.
Once a time recommended specially when it has rained.
Beautiful memories! A easy walk to the fall! Such an amazing spot that is easily accessible. I love the sound of natural waterfall and I just love that this is an relatively simple walk.
High recommended to just come see!
