We are having a small family get together and the place looks lovely. The reservation staff are excellent and very helpful

We have been to this campground twice now (both since Covid). Over all it is very nice. There was some miscommunication about how many vehicles and trailers were allowed at the group site we stayed at. Make sure to read all the fine print or get it in writing. Communication is lacking a bit between staff. Gets VERY full on the weekends and our camping neighbors were very loud this past time with music past 10 every night. Would love to go back again during a weekday when it is much less crowded. Nice to be on the River. Kids love the extras (some are extra $$$)

Looks great on the outside but be warned that if you have an emergency and don’t know eight days before your reservation, they are “too busy” to refund you. So they’ll take your money as well as whoever gets your site when you can’t make it. Robbery if you ask me.

A great campground with spots right on the beach of the river! There’s also some more forested spots as well. We stayed in site 46B and there was little tree coverage but a nice view of the river “canyon. ” The general store is super convenient and they carry way more than you’d expect! They also take covid seriously and clean the bathrooms frequently. Plus the staff was super friendly! We went August 23rd, Monday through Wednesday, and the campground was fairly empty and quiet. Just one thing, I wouldn’t want to stay in the standard RV area, the sites are super close together and it’s all gravel with no trees.

Amazing! Love the ambiance set for families, fully by that I mean fully stocked market.clean sites, clean bathrooms, COVID cautious, hand sanitizer available everywhere, laundry mat onsite, dishwashing station, plenty of activities for families, loved the big bomb fire set by the river, clear view of stars at night. Thank you to all the staff who works hard to make this place a place you would want to come back to.

This place is so loud and everyone is camped right on top of each other. It's like being at an RV park and festival. So many dogs who are constantly barking and setting each other off, still going all night long. The wifi is basically useless and there is no cell reception (with ATT). We won't be coming back, might even cut our trip short and just eat the loss. Such a disappointing way to end summer.

The river is dry and the beaches are not very desirable because of it…. Unfortunate and definitely nothing Casini Ranch can do about that, due to the drought. But what made our stay awful and frustrating was that our campsite REEKED of urine. Assuming from previous campers using the campsite as a toilet. Our entire site smelled and it was GROSS. It was all we could smell at our site, in our tents and at our picnic table. Also, Casini’s has started renting out golf carts so basically families zoom around all day on them, stirring up dust and almost running over people who are walking the paths.

We also had a horrible skunk problem. We were sitting at our picnic table playing games, just after dusk when a huge skunk took over our campsite. The critter didn’t even care we were sitting there witnessing him roaming around, trying to find food (we are not sloths, our food was put away and our site was tidy). Maybe previous campers threw trash in the bushes, because he stuck around for at least 40 minutes. Other sites near by were also yelling “skunk” so I’m assuming it was a skunk takeover lol.

We never got to voice our concerns as no one ever checked on us. Casini’s used to have employees check on the sites daily, once in the day and once closer to “lights out. ” This never happened, which also resulted in people partying well until 1am, complete with music and hollering. We’ve stayed at Casini’s every summer for the past 10 years or so. This will be our last as I’m sure there’s better campsites around.

Total rip off this 2021 season! Cassini Ranch is making up $$$ loss revenue! I made reservations 3 months ago now 2 wks before our trip there they blindsided us with extra charges! We can't cancel because of penalties but yet Cassini Rip-Off Ranch can totally make charge enormous unexpected charges.will do everything to highly discourage family/friends from this Rip-Off Ranch!

I booked this last minute and was so excited but had to reschedule 5 days out because the hubby is a first responder and had an abrupt change in his schedule out of our control (pandemic related!). I called and asked to reschedule and pay the fee and they refused. Said we would just have to be out the $180 spent.no flexibility, no understanding! Their website doesn't say that they won't reschedule within any specific time frame so it just unreasonable. They said I would have to reschedule within 8 days, but I booked it less than 8 dayz from the planned trip so I call BS. Just warning others given that I am sure many first responder families are looking for places to relax and this is clearly not first responder friendly.

This is a great location to bring the entire family. On the weekends/holidays/summer break kids have an amazing time making new friends and fond memories. It may be playing basketball on the full court, horseshoes, gaga ball, biking, playground etc.etc.etc. There is so much to do for all ages plus there are planned activities such as hay rides, scavenger hunts and beach bonfires. The 1 mile of riverfront is great for launching your kayak/paddle board, the store has everything you need, the WiFi is free/works great and the staff is amazing! If there was one “family” campground I had to recommend, Casini Ranch Family Campground is it. 20% First Responders discount too!

32’ TT/Full Hookups (I seen everything from tents to huge triple axle Allegro Class-As during our stay.

So far its been amazing! We have done quiet a bit here, gone for a walk, did some mining, arts and crafts, hung out at the river, played in the playground and explored. Bummed we missed the hey ride, but looking forward to the scavenger hunt. Also I highly suggest getting the deluxe camping spot! Tons of room and lots of privacy. It also has a fire pit, propane BBQ for you to utilize and your own canopy with lighting, a picnic table and umbrella

We spent two nights here trying out our RV We rented an area that is fenced in specifically for pets. That was great!

It’s a huge campground with plenty of things to do with children. Two dog parks. We didn’t go to them maybe next time. We walked around the park.

We were close to the river. Did not swim in the river, there has been notification since last month in Sonoma County that there is toxic blue algae. Not sure why the campground didn’t disclose this. (?) They are friendly and accommodating. We didn’t have any problems. Except gun fire. A gun club is close by, East to the river.

Our one dog is very frightened by loud noises. Sadly, she became scared and shaking badly. We worried she’d bolt through our RV door and through the gates. We brought sedatives in any case but unfortunately not enough notice to prepare. So, if you have pets that are fearful I’d bring sedatives with you. (CBD or calming chews helps too) It was our last night there. We didn’t get to walk our dogs or were able to do much more. It was unnerving and frustrating. Worried she’d get seriously injured. So, this was very disappointing to us. And we were angry.

We tried giving her a sedative it was too late, she was in convulsions, wouldn’t take the pill.

If the campground rules state no fire arms, motorcycles etc then we feel that they should let campers know of the gun club, dates and hours this is open. So, to be better prepared.

There is poison oak around the campground. So, be watchful of this. Spraying the poison oak, would be nice. I wonder how many kids have gotten poison oak? A general store is there, which is good to have. We saw so many kids and adults riding bikes, walking, playing at the playground, volleyball court. It was fun watching and listening to the many kids having a good time. We’ll return for sure with more family members soon. It was just us and our two dogs this trip.

People stated in reviews that it’s noisy. It’s a busy place for sure and marketed for families. It’s not a place for partying, unruliness. There are campers who are inconsiderate everywhere unfortunately. We didn’t hear anyone loud talking after 10 pm no loud music etc.we noticed many campers enjoying the fire pits.

We phoned the host about the gun fire. They were polite about it and apologetic. I think if anyone has a issue with a camper that’s not following the rules they would do something about it. It states in their rules unruly campers would be evicted.

This is probably a great campground if you are staying in your own RV with your own bathroom/shower. Not so great if you are staying in a tent. The campground is huge, spots are close together, and there are only 3 bathrooms in the whole place. Each bathroom only has two toilets and two showers. We had to walk far just to be able to get to the closest bathroom (note that the campground map is very deceiving with regards to how far the bathrooms are located). Tent sites look like they have river access (on the map), but they do not. You still have to walk to the beach area to get to the river. We just got back today (mid June). The campground is very close to the coast so it was overcast each day until about 1-2pm. It was about mid 60’s the entire time we were there which wasn’t quite warm enough for the kids to enjoy the river. They have a jumpy pillow but it is only open during specific days and times (even in the summer), and you have to pay for it. This is the only campground I have ever been to with a jumpy pillow where they literally shut it down all day except between 1pm-5pm. That was a huge let down for the kids. Overall, given the weather (which is out of their control), packed campsites, lack of bathroom and shower facilities, distance to the river, and lack of activities, we will not be back.

In one word.it's crowded. They can really pack a ton of people in this place. If you're ok with being only feet away from your neighbors, then Casini Ranch is for you. There's small kids on bikes literally everywhere and they have no idea how to ride around cars and trucks. It's expensive but the ranch seems to be sufficiently organized and the accomodations were acceptable. If you value any kind of peace and quiet or a true 'camping' experience, then you may want to look elsewhere.

Very large nicely spread out campground with loads of amenities and river access, convenient to Guerneville and the Sonoma Coast. They are pretty much the only thing going as a developed RV (and tent) campground in the area—and charge accordingly. Rates are expensive, and then they nickel & dime you for every little thing—charged us a $7 day use fee just for a local friend to visit us one evening for dinner. Site settings & sizes vary greatly—pick carefully, look at site & satellite maps. Our site 111B was out of the congestion, very large, but unshaded & all dirt—a $74 RV site (electric & water only) should be paved, graveled, or at least have wood chips. Very secure and well maintained. Wifi was a plus—worked better than average for campgrounds. Minimum cell signal (Verizon).

The facility is nice - huge and well equipped with a nice stretch of river beach to enjoy. BUT - it was noisy, there was no respect for or enforcement of the campground rules for quiet time or radios or COVID safety. If you want to come and let your kids run amok and play loud music with foul language and disregard masks and social distancing while you play beer pong until midnight without any consequences, this is your place! If you would like to have some respect shown by your fellow campers try somewhere else.
