Castañedas Mexican Food

I had gotten one of their burrito for breakfast. It was very good. Other than it had to much cheese (I know never to much cheese but in this case it was) sin e it had so much cheese it made it salty (senstive to salt) and on the greasy also because of the cheese. Otherwise it tasted great.

Love this place, best drive thru Mexican food, love the green salsa. You can judge a place by the fluffy rice, creamy beans and tangy salsa.

Went through Casteneda's drive-thru in Palm Springs on Ramon Rd around 11: 30pm 7/31/2023. I odered the #11 which was 2 fish tacos with rice and beans. I got home, and while eating my 2nd taco I felt something sharp pierce my gum while chewing. I spit out my food and there was a piece of serrated metal. It looked like a chipped knife or a jagged razer, thin with many sharp points. I took my food back to show them and ask for a refund, this time deciding to go inside. I parked, got out of my car and saw a rat running along the wall outside while approaching the building. I paid with a card but they gave me a refund in cash. The women (cashier) appolgized but the cook (a man) did not. She offered to remake my food or give me a drink but I declined. I will never go back. I told them had someone swallowed what was in my food it may have been life threatening. I will not be returning and will be telling friends and family to refrain from visiting this place as well.

Who says ground beef isn’t ready? It takes 5 minutes to make. First I order from Uber from them and Uber can’t complete the order for some reason so I decide to drive 5 miles to just order there then they can not make my order. I will never order from them again. Horrible. They obviously don’t need business.

The staff needs to be friendly, their food is not good, I did not feel comfortable in this place, I promise not to return. If there's one good thing about it, it's that it's open 24 hours. I'm disappointed

There was a mix-up with my order and they went way above and beyond to complete my order and we're extremely friendly.

Dated restaurant, could use a face-lift and some sprucing up inside. The staff is probably one of the cooler staff, working all hours of the day and night. Popular 24 hr.fast food joint downtown PS is packed during the later hours.nothing else open. The food is alright. It's better if you have had some alcohol. But hey, we're lucky to have it!

All the employees are very kind. I only ate a carne asada burrito and was delicious! They have a amazing hot sauce.

Alberto's has good Mexican food, but Castañedas the best. Mexican food (The BEST). With green and red salsa.

A little pricey but probably the best fast food Mexican you can buy. A few solid choices are the Carne Asada frys, San Felipe Burito (shrimp and steak), cheese quesadilla, and taco are all great options.

The service was terrible, the food was terrible, I ordered a chimichanga and it seems that they made it with waste, it had burnt pieces of potato and also the meat was burnt and there was practically no meat. Nothing. The horrible taste and smell, I don't recommend it.

Castañeda’s mini tortas almost 10 dollars each … don’t get them the bread came different I guess it’s half the size from last months… called the restaurant so they can let the regulars know the tortas come half the size they use to be but they said there’s nothing they can do just let the Customers know so we have the choice of getting something else than what we expect…tried talking to manager but they couldn’t accept my call

Ordered a California burrito with ground beef, and it was delicious! Definitely underrated.

While I do enjoy some of the food.the last few times I have been to this establishment my order was wrong, items were cold when they should have been hot, and the service was poor I believe you guys need to re-staff or retrain your ppl.
