As a practicing physician, I would like to emphasize the incredible lack of professionalism and competency Manjit Purewal, NP provided during a recent visit my family member had at the urgent care.
A simple anemia rule out visit was questioned because the NP was intimidated or possibly even overwhelmed with a recent diagnosis. Furthermore, her demeanor and lack of compassion towards the patient during this difficult time was unacceptable.

First time going to Urgent Care here. Very clean, not crowded for a Saturday afternoon. I had chest pains I thought anxiety since I"ve been going through a mourning period, registration was easy, nurse so nice and decided to give me an EKG. Dr Dezubiria said my EKG was normal, I was very relieved. He was very kind and compassionate as I was feeling emotional and he took the time to ask what was going on and talked to me about diet & exercise. He was not rushed and I felt I was being heard. Total visit was less than an hour, so impressed I have decided to get a primary physician here now. Thank you Dr. Dezubiria.

Sucks. Business hour on Friday 8: 00am-8: 00pm on the urgent care. Walk in at around 6: 30pm, been told they were not accept any patients at that time.

Horrible experience, first they tried to Deny my appointment claiming I needed a referral which they received a month prior. I had to call my Doctor and have them contact castle to show proof of confirmation of referral, it was a emergency appointment as well, apparently since they lost my referral they didn’t even put me on the schedule, after my doctor faxed a copy of the original referral sent to them, they allowed me to be seen, but not after waiting
1 1/2 hours in a room waiting to seen, which the room was dirty as well as smelly. My experience at castle was awful all the way around. As I was in the room waiting, I can hear the staff talking, gossiping as well as using foul language having personal conversations with eachother, very uncomfortable and unprofessional

I wasn't super happy with my primary MD when I 1st switched from bloss cuz they lost everyone that could write my particular scripts. But I started seeing Thomas Dowell PA-C as my dermatologist (loved him) and then he started doing regular Primary care part time. So he let me switch over to him for my PCP, even though he really wasn't taking new patients for the most part, but we hit it off and during my appts its more like friends talking as apposed to provider and patient. My husband is now his patient and my daughter! If he also did pediatrics my 4 grandbabies would probably be his patients as well! At this point he's only here every 3rd week, but he still does the rest of the month over the phone. Almost always calls on time.

As far urgent care we usually try to see DonDon. He is alot like Tommy Dowell & actually pretty good friends. Never had an issue with urgent care except for the waiting to get seen. Its always backed up cuz i believe if ur a castle patient ur considered a walk-in for the regular clinic and might get seen by one of them instead of inside urgent care. But there had been a few times I did get kicked back to urgent & saw them. Usually there's 2 regular providers in urgent care DonDon and Matt. Matt is ok, not as accommodating as DonDon but nice. The rest of the staff & MA's are usually pretty nice and as helpful as they can be.

When I go for my regular appts I usually enter through the urgent care entrance cuz i have a walker and since they started recognizing me everyone always says hi as i walk through. Throughout the rest of the building is the same way. Sometimes I'm there a few times a week for different providers cuz alliance & medi-cal won't let u see different providers in the same medical center on the same day. Very annoying, but we don't live very far so now it's not too big of a deal

Most of the providers at castle family health centers that I've met have been great. Only had an issue with one so far & i think it was kind of a Dr power trip thing. Everyone else has been awesome!

Literally the worst place ever to communicate with. Didn’t call me back about my results, which were not good ones. They told me my results a month later after I went in for a different appointment. I asked to be referred to a woman obgyn and doctor Cooksey never sent in my referral in. It took me 2 weeks to get an answer and the problem has still not been fixed. It’s been almost a month that I’ve been waiting and none of the nurses communicate to doctor cooksey that I have been waiting. I had to schedule another apt just to talk to her about the referral. This place is a literal joke.

Seriously the WORST! Went in at 2 they only take appointments and have me the number to call. I called and to go in after 5. Went at 5 and sorry too many patients already but yet they close at 8pm.website says no appointment needed! So disappointed I loved this place but they have been the worst after COVID

Very helpful professional staff. The intake people were very friendly and clear, explaining the insurance. The nurses and doctors did a great job. Thank you for your help!

Very poorly served here if they attend without an appointment but for that it is a wait of up to more than 3 hours, the strange thing is that sometimes there are not many patients

So far haven't had any complaints, just some doctors are very pushy. But there are some that do listens to a patients concerns.

Have a sign that says wear a mask for covid. Yet you go in and half the people are not wearing a mask.

What an unorganized operation. The doctor I was assigned to was very unhelpful. Had the nurse relay her message. The nurse did a wonderful job. I just felt like it was unfair to put her responsibilities on someone else. I was disappointed with how the appointment went. Was ignored and left with unanswered questions and outcome. It was so frustrating of an experience. I am still trying to comprehend how that doctor is practicing.

My 2yr old daughter was having difficulty breathing and a nasty croup cough. She was wheezing for air and we came in at around 5pm asking for help and to get her seen. The receptionist lady told us that they are closed and are won't take us in or anyone in, they don't close until 7pm. I've asked her where else we can go or if please just to let anyone see my daughter. She told us no and that she doesn't know where else we can go. We just moved back here so our daughter didn't had a pediatrician to get check out by. She just shrugged her shoulders and looked annoyed by us. She suggested for us to take her to the ER instead and then she turned around and went to her group of friends, ignoring us. Never coming back again, as we can see they have no compassion for a sick child or even cared about our situation.

Lorena is the worst don't go to her! My mom 64 years old was treated very cruel by her. Avoid her
