Catalina Island Vacation Rentals

Hi everyone. I just needed everyone to know the truth about this company. I booked this house august 8th and received an email stating that my reservation was confirmed along with an itinerary. I then realized the house said it had 9 bedrooms and a golf cart so I proceeded to call the owner and confirm if the house was actually 9 bedrooms and if it 100% came with the golf cart. The owner then told me none of those were true so I kindly asked the owner if he can either try to help me find a golf cart and he recommended we get another one of he’s properties that comes with a golf cart. Conversation ended with him saying he will figure it out and let us know. Fast forward to YESTERSAY, I get an email stating my reservation has been cancelled. Let’s keep in mind that I’m bringing my entire family with boat tickets already bought and now we are homeless in Catalina island for 3 nights. I call the general manager “KARINA” and she starts accusing me of being disrespectful and that I am “threatening” them because I said that this is UNPROFESSIONAL. This is the most ridiculous company to work with. I would never advise working with them but to get a hotel honestly cause the hotel staff has more decency. I’ve been coming to Catalina island for the past 5 years every single year and I’ve never had a problem like this with anybody. This 1 time I attempt to book an Airbnb because I am with a larger crowd this is the respect and help I get from this company. Never again will I put myself through this stress of working with them again. Thanks for nothing!

Our family spent 4 days at Unit 10-79, Hamilton Cove. Amazing view, great location, condo was layout was adequate for our group and the unit was quiet. However the unit is dirty, needs a definite deep clean. Kitchen is ill-equiped with only 2 dish towels, no pot holders, not enough plates or bowls. Cabinets have no
pulls, sticky with grime and dirt. No handle in the refrigerator…rusted electric stove. We made due, but this Unit needs attention and was far from feeling luxurious.

Excellent service communication actually answered the phone nowadays no one does that look forward to doing business

We enjoyed our stay at 222 Catalina Ave. It was perfect for us, as there was only 3 of us. The only downside for us was that it has only one bathroom.

We stayed in 211 Claressa Upper Unit for a weekend in Catalina and had a stellar weekend. Booking was esay, check-in communication was great, the unit was clean and roomy and we loved having three bedrooms (this was key with teens who like their space!), 2 bathrooms and a beautiful deck with a nice view of the homes around. Having the golf cart was also key especially since we had to drive up and down the hill each day for a lacrosse tournament at Joe Machado field. The location is right around the corner from Vons and walking to all the waterfront shops and restaurants - great donut place just down the street with huge donuts too!

I would come back and stay here again, my only suggestion would be to add some kitchen shears to the kitchen please, that would have come in handy.

We were in communciation with Cruz before and during our stay. He was helpful and accomodating. I am very grateful for everything he did for us to help accomodate our schedule that weekend!
