Catalina Luxury Apartments

After living here for more than I year I am now able to give an accurate rating. This complex definitely has its pros and cons. The building is only about 2 years old, has a swimming pool, gym, parking structure and is conveniently located. Unfortunately, since its it's considered "luxurious, " it is a huge target to thieves. On multiple occasions cars have been broken into, personal property has been stolen and nothing has been done. I definitely don't feel safe, especially knowing that there's is nothing being done to help fix this HUGE issue. I wish our safety as tenants would be of more importance to management.

Update:
Now that we have new management taking care of the complex living here has been more pleasant. I'd recommend living here.

My lease will end November 10th. I enjoyed my stay here.

Pros:

* Priced competitively.
* Water and trash included in rent.
* Located near lots of restaurants and markets.
* Gated parking lot.
* Packages can be delivered straight to your door.
* Pretty quiet in the afternoons.
* Assigned parking.
* Sufficient guest parking.

Cons:

* Motel right next door can lead to unwanted guests hanging around.
* No nearby highways.
* Refrigerator can get obnoxiously loud and it sometimes ruins your peace.
* Gates sometimes have a tough time staying locked/closed.

I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for somewhere to rent.
