I assume the service was so so because it was crowded and hard to find emoloyees in this climate. Usually the service is great but not on my last visit. Steak was cooked wrong then took forever to get it back. Little disappointed to say the least.

The waitress forgot a whole order. I think they were a little upset we only ordered appetizers.

Visiting friends in Woodland and checked out this restaurant. It's a nice setting and the service was very good. The salad was fresh and crispy, the bread was hot and tasty. That's about all that was good during our meals. The medium rare ribeye steak, the petite filet and sirloin, the sirloin with shrimp scampi were all very tough and did not taste good at all. Four stars for service, salad and bread, zero star for the steaks. Very disappointing.

Only 4 stars due to seating process, which we got skipped multiple times by people without reservations. Food was so delicious!

I paid alot for a rib eye that was more than half grissle.i was bummed and disapointed.now there bacon wrap shrimp was delicious

Excellent food & service.
Prices reasonable.
Only drawback is that for some reason it's hard to have conversations as the acoustics are bad. Not a noisy place but still hard to hear others at our table. Will definitely go again.

Was not good we got there at 830 pm did not get food until 2 hr later even the little order chicken and for they did not get them untill we got our then they put all of our bill together even though we reserved your table in 8 they put 16 people on one bill and we had 1 waitress for 32 people my 84 year old mom was so tired we left really late by the time are food came we just mad it to and we spent over $1200‍️

Food was good, service was excellent! I believe our server's name is Maria and she was the best! We will definitely be back.

The steaks are ok, but not of any higher quality than you could buy for yourself at any grocery store. The wait times are unreasonable. There are whole sections of the restaurant that they refuse to seat people at, and they won't even put you on the wait list until you are standing in the lobby. Definitely don't bother with this place if you are hungry.

I’m not sure how this place has such good reviews. They don’t know how to cook a steak and the meat is poor quality. Their salmon was ridiculously salty and inedible.for the price, I would expect something way better

NY steak was the best I've had in a long time! Was in a group of almost 70 people & service was exceptional. Staff was very professional!

This is my first time at cattlemens restaurant, I haven't had this experience from long time ago, exelent service, excellent food, I'm so happy and definitely I will return, the artichoke cheese dip is a bomb! They cook the stakes exactly how it is, I order a Margarita to drink, it was really good too!

My experience was exceptional. All staff was attentive and friendly. My 2lb sirloin AKA, "The Sheriff", was done to perfection. Enjoyed a half portion while dining and the rest at home. Both equally exquisite. Left a tip that was twice the requirement because I appreciated the service so much. Cattlemen's Dixon is nonpareil among other steakhouses. Ed

My experience was amazing the waitress was very assertive and very polite, she ordered exactly what my mom requested from the bar! Specialty cocktail! She didn't even question it, she handled it.
Always love to go, I hope the FOOTBALL RIB SPECIAL WILL RETURN!

You can never go wrong at cattleman's steakhouse. Quality meals Everytime. Insanely good sourdough bread and beans. Wish they'd bring back the bean slingers.
