9 plates, only 2 we're good. Won't be going back anytime soon. But our waiter Michael was pretty good!

It's a hit or miss when it comes to steak. We've been here 4 times, 2/4 was good experience and perfect steak. The other 2/4, the steak were not good cut, chewy and over seasoned. I would come here again if invite to an event but wouldn't be here on my own.

My prime rib was tough, not very tender at all.desert wasn't very good either - definitely not worth the money.

Great food. Service is very well organized. Reservation's should be made. People love this place.

Always love this place. Had reservations, but we were informed that they may be 15 minutes late. Place was packed to the rafters. Called to our table 3 minutes after the reservation time. Understandable considering the crowd. Overheard that they had just ran out of Prim Rib (7: 30 on a Saturday?), Ordered our appetizers and chatted while we waited. Salads came out, still waiting for our calamari appetizers. Almost finished salads and the waitress informed us they had to "86" the calamari. Ordered the artichoke and cheese dip, highly disappointing. Meals came, and all were cooked to proper temperature, and delicious. Overall, it was a positive experience.

Really good, busy busy place that found us a seat much quicker than they thought it would take. Decent service and great food. Almost worth the price, still a touch high.

If what you crave is a rare steak, sourdough bread, potatoes mashed, and beans in a cast iron pot. Look no further. Our waiter was sharp and personable.

Our order was mostly accurate. Everything was right, except my nephew received the wrong size steak.cattleman's replaced it with the correct order, we all watched as he some how managed to not waste a single bite (two steaks, lol.)

100% will go again!

I was left with the confirmation that teenagers can pack down food the same as a black hole consumes matter, and Cattleman's is ready to step up to the plate.

The meat was a end cut. Tuff. And over priced. Wate staff was in training. I only got my original drink. We had a party of 8.
She messed up the orders. But some of us got the wrong dinner, some very fatty meat. The calamari was salty, tuff, white dough on rubber bands. No tubes, just dry broken mess in a plastic bowl. The sauce was gross. Salid was the only thing was good

Cattlemens is always great! Although this time when we had a reservation and arrived early we went to the bar. We had a large party of 12 and we asked the waitress if we could sit at high top and when a table was cleared we asked if we could sit at that table and the answer was yes. Soon after the manager came over and wanted to know if the Hostess seated us there. We told him the waitress said we could sit there. He informed us that they use the tables for reservations and we shouldn't be there. Amazingly he went to check on our reservation and our table was ready and we should check with the Hostess to be seated, maybe he should have seated us seeings how sitting at the table in the bar was such an inconvenience. We went back to check on the table in the bar (numerous times no one had been seated there, we had also ordered appetizers and drinks) I do not know what the issue was with us sitting there. After we were seated we had great service and food. The issue with the manager made us feel very unwelcome. We were there to celebrate a 75th birthday. Since when can you not go into the bar and wait until your table is ready? I would say don't expect to go to the bar and have a drink maybe appetizers, reservations or not!

I just want to get our experience out there for anyone that has certain expectations for a place like this. I reserved a table for my family for my mothers Birthday. We had been here once before for my dad's birthday and the steaks we ordered back then were less then underwhelming and we made sure to let the waitress know we had bad steaks in the past. We had decided to give it another try from the recommendation of a friend that said their NY steak was tasty.
So I reserved a table with a birthday specified for my mom and we came in for dinner. Let me start off by saying the soups and salads we had before our steaks were tasty, however the cocktails we ordered were not mixed well and tasted gross overall (We had margaritas and the cowboy lemonade). As we waited for our entrées the table near us with a large party had people leave from a side exit and leave the door open so people could return after a smoke break. The smoke ended up coming in through the door and stinking up our table, cold air also came in and forced my father to put his jacket back on during dinner. We told our waitress about this issue but nothing was done. When we received our food the steaks were dry and overcooked, and it was obvious because once my mom flipped her steak to check the underside it became obvious a piece of the steak had been cut off AFTER it had been cooked to hide the obvious burn marks. After we complained the manager removed that steak from our bill, which was nice, but it would have been nice if a restaurant that is supposedly proud of the steaks they serve actually had some consistency with their food. This place is not worth booking special occasions even if you go out of your way to reserve a spot. At the very least if you want a good steak for dinner look elsewhere because it is very obvious the cooks at this restaurant have lost the spark to actually prepare quality food.

Been there many times great service, but this time it was terrible. We ate at the bar and were there because Tahoe Joe's was out of prime rib. Ordered our prime rib and appetizers. The food all came out at the same time, apps, salad and entree. Every was good except the au jus was tasteless. Like slightly beef flavored water. Bartender never checked back was busy talking. Finally got his attention about au jus He acted like I was bothering him. I finally got some more it was tasteless too. He finally Asked how the meal was I said it would be better if I had some good au jus. He got a new batch but it was too late we were done. Prime rib was cold by then. I finally got to enjoy a few bites at home. If I'd had the better au jus earlier would of made a huge difference a as well as a server that didn't act like we were a nuisance because we ate at the bar while he was cleaning up. It was only 830pm. I've worked at a Cattlemens before and customer service was always the most important thing stressed to us. I was appalled that it was not the usual Cattlemen standard. Very disappointed that I took my cold un eaten prime rib home and did not get to enjoy it because the bartender didn't care if we enjoyed our meal for the $125 we spent. Other times we have had great service but this bartender obviously wasn't trained for customer service. I won't be visiting that location again.

Portions were good. Service was not good for the price. Bartenders had one other person to tend to aside from me and pretty much acted like I didn't exist outside of taking my order. Side vegatable came out overcooked and mushy. Steak was lukewarm and also mushy. Asked for a box for my side of chilli and was ignored until they threw them out.

One of the biggest and best porterhouse steaks I've ever had! Everything was really really good. This place is worth it! Highly recommended. Would have given it 5 stars but the ladies that worked there when I called to make a reservation were very negative and not friendly. Talking to them made me feel very uncomfortable and like I wasn't welcome. But the food was 5 stars!

I got the sirloin steak and loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly but the potato was not hot.

The staff was attentive, even with the place being packed on a weekend. Steak cooked to perfection and had the right texture/flavor. The sides were tasty. They kept my soda filled. The restaurant itself has a rustic 1990s country decor feel to it, nostalgic! Not sure if that’s what they are going for, but that’s what I felt and liked it. Overall, it’s a nice place to go for a date/special occasion!

We were there last Tuesday night 5 of us sat at the bar for drinks and dinner. The two bartenders wet spot on with their service and with a smile!
I didn't like my Prime Rib! It was very tough!
