American Restaurant Causwells reviews
15Aiden, our bartender/ server, absolutely killed it today. We were visiting from out of town and could not have imagined better service. Food was amazing, drinks were some of the best I've had and the service was absolutely world class. Thank you Aiden for such a great experience and conversation!
God these burgers are so amazing
The starters were all excellent and the banana bread grilled dessert is fun and delicious
They have a great menu selection and the service is top tier amazing. I highly recommend trying them out when you have a chance.
Very cute place! A little tight in terms of the tables being close together.
The drinks are fun and inventive and served in the coolest glasses. The food was really incredible. I would absolutely come back.
The service was amazing. The hostess was so much fun!
Excellence in a small package. Literally everything is on point, delicious, and adorable. Arguably the best burger in the bay! Really nice cocktails too.
Too loud, overpriced, service is slow. And on our last visit, both me and my friend got food poisoning.
Great burger at the restaurant. Don't bother with delivery though - cold, soggy and pretty tasteless.
Amazing food and service - fresh oysters - Pedro Ramirez, El Colombiano was super profesional and made our experience enjoyable! Will come back! Dessert was to die for! Banana grilled cheese yummm! Muchas gracias Pedro!
Was visiting SF for 5 days and this was the only place we went to twice! The cocktails are so good, friendly service, and their happy hour oysters can’t be beat.
Went for later evening drinks, did not disappoint. Great staff, very friendly team and loved the menu.
Fun and vibey, especially since the remodel. Sitting outside or at bar is the move as tables inside feels cramped to me. Large, well done parklet outside.
The Americana is one of the best burgers in the city, easily. The cocktail menu is fun for a happy hour, but a little gimmicky and I haven't found any that are must orders. The Deconstructed Pimms is worth it for the gram alone.
1st time here. We brought my fur grand baby, and we sat outside, heated lamps were on. We placed our order, American burger and wings, baby got a burger patty and a bowl of water. This burger is one of the best tasting burgers I've had in years! The Cali hot wings were not spicey but still delicious! Parking was challenging.
We discovered Causwell’s when moving my son to SF, and it has become our absolute favorite go-to restaurant! We’ve been for happy hour, dinner and weekend brunch, and Causwell’s never disappoints! Excellent service from the friendly staff, including Ronnie the bartender and Judy the manager. Both the food and drinks here are creative and delicious! I highly recommend!
Took a walk from the Opera Plaza down to the Palace of Fine Arts and then onto the Golden Gate Bridge and the Presidio. On the way back, we stopped at Causwells for a beer and a late lunch. The Jambalaya was excellent and the burger was delicious and very well prepared, with a decent beer selection and nicely stocked bar. The service was great without being overwhelming. I'd definitely recommend stopping here for a good meal and drinks
This is my favorite local bar. Great food and drinks, friendly staff, and a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
