Cayucos-Motel

The Cayucos Motel has a great atmosphere. Small and quaint. The hotel next store was packed full of people and I was happy to just sit on the green grass area and enjoy the fenced in yard of this motel with all three of my dogs! No extra fee! I will be staying here again!

The motel is quaint with a very homey feel, staff is awesome and they are pet friendly and treat your fur baby like family. They welcomed my pet with his very own bowl, they even had his name painted on it and filled it with treats and toys.
I truly recommend this quaint little motel if you are in search of a home away from home feeling. Oh and the rooms were very clean and smelled great, it’s not beach front but it’s just steps away and there are chairs in the grassy area so you can view the sunset. There is also a bar b que pit and tables and benches in front of each room. Take a chance and stay here it’s worth it

Amazing place. We never stay at Motels and this is not what you expect. Super sweet hardworking women run this place. Our pugs received the VIP treatment with little goodie bags, the location is beach front with fire pit. The place is extremely clean. We will be returning next month with coco and Petunia. Highly recommend it!

Very pet friendly. Owner and staff are just way cool. My wife, myself and dogs have stayed at least 10 times and won't stay anyplace elsewhen visiting Cyucus.

Such a nice well run boutique motel. Clean and beautifully decorated rooms with a quaint warm beach feeling. All the staff are incredibly genuine and kind. My dog and I didn't want to leave. Thank you Cayucos Motel for giving us a warm and welcome feeling

We have stayed here for years. We have 3 large dogs that are 140lbs, 125lbs and 100lbs and they don't size discriminate as most hotels do. And better yet.the beds are comfortable! Cayucos is truly a dog friendly town!

Amazing experience at the Cayucos Motel! We were greeted as soon as we got out of my car and they had the cutest bowls waiting on the front desk for my dogs, with treats, toys and even their name painted on them! Very clean room, right on the beach and had a little fenced dog park which my pups loved. My dogs have never been treated so well at any hotel, very glad I decided to stay here this time!

My daughter and I stayed her for 2 nights with our fur baby while vacationing in beautiful Cayucos. Never have I stayed at a place where pets were so graciously welcomed. Initially, we were going to bring our 3 boys, but ended up just bringing one. He was welcomed with a personalized doggie dish and treats. I did call a few days in advance to let them we would only be bringing the one, but to our surprise was welcomed with all 3 bowls. They told us to take them home. How sweet is that?

The rooms were cute, clean, and just what we needed. We slept great in the comfy king size bed. There was a fridge and coffee maker in our room. There is a community microwave available for everyone to use as well. They also have an outdoor shower so you can rinse your fur babies off after going to the beach. We loved it and used it exactly for that.

I also loved the convenient location of this motel. You can walk to all the shops and restaurants within 10 minutes. We were also steps alway from beach access.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at this motel and will definitely return next summer if not sooner. My daughter and I are already planning to make this a yearly trip with our dogs.

This motel makes my heart so happy! I have never stayed at a place where my dog was so incredibly welcome! A lot of care and kindness went into this motel; it is the epitome of dog-friendly! They even included a sweet gift with my dog’s name on it! Rooms are clean and comfortable, perfectly located in-between the beach and the shops/restaurants. They have a beach shower and a couple of towels in the room to use for the beach, which is awesome! 5 stars all around and we will definitely be back!

The owner is very nice very attentive is very clean. This is where we always stop to rest.

Best place in Cayucos to stay. Animal friendly like literally they will accommodate just about any animal. All the lady’s that work the desk are nice.

I have never felt so at home on vacation! The owner and staff are some fo the nicest people I have ever met. They don’t charge extra for pets which I have never heard of. The interior decoration was so cool not that that is the most amazing part but I did love it! The room was really clean the bed was comfy. Last but not least the gesture that really touched my heart they knocked on the door and had a bowl for my labrador with her name on it with treats and two toys. Who does that! They do! So so sweet cannot say enough good things. (also they have a cool spot on the lawn if your into having a bon fire) Thank you guys for the great time!
