Cazadores Bar & Grill reviews
17The Caldo de Camaron was amazing and it was served with homemade corn tortillas. And the Shrimp Tostadas was pilled high and delicious!
I would give this place -1 if I can. We are vegetarians. As in we ask in Mexican places if rice is cooked in Chicken bouillon and if beans has lard in it. While driving down highway I called and checked and they said rice is vegetarian and whole beans has no lard and only refried beans has. So we stopped seeing 4 veggie items in menu. We were seated after a bit of wait and no one came for a while. I asked waitress again if rice was vegetarian and no chicken broth. She went in to check with chef again. She then went on to serving drink to customer x. Then she goes to get payment for a Togo customer. She then serves drink to customer y. She then goes on to serving chips / salsa to customer x again. She then goes to cash to checkout another Togo customer. She then comes back to our table and says that their rice has chicken broth in it.
There goes 20 mins.
After encountering multiple negative incidents at this restaurant, we've chosen never to return. The service consistently falls short, as the waitstaff seems disengaged from providing satisfactory customer care. If you come across problems with the food, service, or staff attitude, don't expect assistance from the manager or owner, assuming they're even present. Furthermore, workers have a tendency to turn away customers before closing time to finish their shifts early.
When you tried an order they never answer and when you go in the restaurant you could hear the phone just ringing and ringing and ringing and they take a long time to serve you
Not a fan of their shredded chicken dishes, but to me, their chile relleno is the best in Madera. Their rice, bacon wrapped shrimp, fajitas, and micheladas are so tasty. I love the patio seating, but it is a little humid inside, and not all of their fans work. Servers are pretty friendly, but it can be hard to get drink refills or place a dessert order, and they often need to be reminded to bring the tab.
My favorite place to eat since moving to Madera. The staff is welcoming and always friendly, music is great, and best of all everything all the way down to their flour and corn tortillas is prepared fresh to order.
The good: waitress were nice. Bathrooms were clean and area was nice too. Hand made tortillas tasted good too.
The not so good part: Food was just OK. My fish had too much salt. Beans and rice had no flavor. My husband's shrimp cocktail needed more flavor and he said it had more vegetables than shrimp. The portion was huge though. I guess that's why it was $22 for the cocktail
Bottom line; Next time in Madera, I will probably skip this restaurant.
Everything about Cazadores Bar& Grill was great. Food was delicious and the service was excellent.
The person that helps us or serve us very kind and friendly.
I would definitely recommend it.
We both had fish, me the tacos and my husband the fish fillet both came with rice and beans. We enjoyed it and will be going back. The server was not very welcoming but was very nice and friendly once we were seated.
Service was poor, only about 4 tables being served by 4 employees
Didn't get silverware, napkins, refills, really inattentive service
Their fajitas are so good. Everyone should swing in by after work and enjoy the coldest beer in town with the hottest, tastiest, most sizzling fajitas west of the Mississippi! Always an enjoyable experience so make your plans today!
Stopped by for lunch. Good food and beer served cold in a large frosted mug. Everything tasty, hot food hot and lettuce fresh. Will visit again
The service has really changed for the worst here! The waitresses before were friendly but now they seem to want to get you in and out as fast as possible. They don't check on you if you need anything after giving you your food. Not a very inviting place to dine.
Place needs some serious cleaning detail! They were kinda short-staffed on the service side & the only thing that's worth its weight, is the Cazadores Molcajete!
Fish tacos are pretty good. Take a while to get your food, but once you do it's pretty good.
