Center Street Grill, Turlock CA

I have never been more disappointed in a restaurant I had heard only good reviews. From the food to the service, it was horrible! You could get better food at Denny’s! It was my husband’s birthday and my in laws were in town from Arizona. We got there about 8: 15 and were immediately told “we close at 9 so please make your choices soon” we ordered appetizers, one being grilled shrimp. We got 4 shrimp on a tablespoon of rice. We asked for French bread and was told they only had garlic bre and it would take a while to prepare. When we got it, it was the size of a dinner roll with slices on top with dry garlic powder and no butter whatsoever! Before we’re even finished eating, the staff started bringing in tables and chairs from outside stacking them loudly by our table. Vacuuming and the staff talking about what they were doing that evening and not in the least concerned if we needed anything at our table. This is the first and last we will ever go to Center Street Grill! What a joy!

The BEST Cobb salad I evr eaten N LET ME TELL U IM A VERY SOLID CRITIC, but this is well worth ur $$$$ they set it up very fancy for u with all kinds of veggies in there, I GIVE U PROPS. 4 the fine salad I enjoy every week. Great steaks, service was good. Could of been better. My wife enjoyed the Prime Rib.
I had the ribeye steak, a little on the thin side but tasted good.

Me and my husband tried this restaurant for the 1st time. Our experience was horrible. Our waitress Kaley was extremely defensive and rude.ordered the Fillet minion 1st it came Overcooked Then 20 minutes later it came raw. I tried explaining to the waitress how it's supposed to be, she got extremely defensive and started to argue with me. I wish I wouldn't have sat in the bar area.

Our first visit was outstanding. This visit not so much. The first visit the waitress just seemed to have more experience. The Artichoke heart did not taste the same. We had to ask for bread. Order was not correct. Just inconsistent. Debating on whether to return in the near future.

This was the first time dining at Center street. Paul was our waiter and he was very attentive throughout our visit. The food was very good from our salad to dessert. The rib eye steak was cooked to our order and seasoned well. We were able to order a baked potato and it came with cheese and bacon bits. The cheese cake was large enough for both of us to share. The chocolate martini was perfect. Center street is now our favorite restaurant for steak.

I always come getting some food in here. I love the efficient service and well prepared dishes. Highly recommended.

Went for my mom's birthday, I had the new York steak sandwich and it was delicious! And the cocktails were on point too.

NOT FOLLOWING THE STAY-AT-HOME order!
Place was packed with only two empty tables and the Bar was also full!
Shame on them!

Good food good sevice. Always a nice experience eating at Center Street Grill. It can be a bit loud at times but never so much so that we can't hear each other.

My birthday dinner there was the best. The whole restaurant sang to me. A memory I will never forget. The staff and the food was incredible. My family and my grandkids enjoyed themselves immensely.

Drove all the way from So Cal and found this great restaurant. Food was excellent! The next time I drove up, stopped again and had the same great service and food!

ALWAYS, a wonderful place to eat. The food and service are outstanding and the place just, overall, has a great vibe. I no longer live in Turlock, otherwise, I'd be there weekly. Love it!

I stopped for dinner at Center Street Grill on my way home. I ordered the bone in ribeye steak. The ribeye was good but the baked potato was so dry and over cooked I couldn't eat it.

Food was gooood the bartender Paul was Awesome! He was our waiter and bartender. Did an awesome job too. Made us feel welcomed. It was my 2md time and my husband's first, he said he'd go back!

Excellent service. You need a reservation for Friday or Saturday dinner service. However, if there is a spot eat in the bar. Bartender is an artist that creates we'll balanced and tasty drinks. And the food. Superb!

For the price the food was okay. I got the lightly breaded halibut. Flavor was lacking. I never had it bread before.

We've been here for lunch several times and everything has been wonderful. Be sure to try the white chocolate bread pudding! They have to go and a room of the dining room that has a bar and sports on the TV. This is a quiet, family friendly place with quality food, good service.
