The technician Bob really knows a lot about dishwasher repair. I have confidence after watching how he works that he knows exactly what he is doing. I'll post another review once everything is settled and every problem has been solved.

It took three times of calling the answering machine to get connected but not by a call back but by them accidentally picking up on the forth call. The service person showed up after the long awaited appointment and took the range apart for review and bad parts removal. He put the range back together inoperable because he didn’t carry the parts needed and had to order them. After two more weeks I called to get an update and was met with a disgusting reception and no answers as to when I might see the repair man again. I asked for an estimate and was refused, instead I was told that couldn’t be done until the service person turned in his trip ticket of hours and part’s listed. I found that not in concert with my thoughts of an ESTIMATE. I looked on Amazon and found the parts in question with the same part number for $17.00 and $57.00 and deliverable next day. So I figured $125 or $150 for the parts. The bill was $485…. Ouch! I paid and was happy to get the range back to cooking. The serviceman said he tested it and all was fine as he left but not so. I called the shop twice getting the voicemail both times leaving the same message that the serviceman left the range with a function still not working. I never got a call back in fact I called Peoples Choice Appliance in Atascadero to come out and complete Central Coast’s work at an added $188. Peoples Choice took the range completely apart to find a loose wire to the non working function and reconnected it. All is fine now with the range but I’m trying to recoup the $188 now, we shall see how that works out. I will update this review as their integrity presents itself.

I had an appointment time of between 1: 00 and 3: 00 p.m. I waited all afternoon. No one ever showed up and no one called. I called in the next morning and was told the appointment had been cancelled but they couldn't tell me who cancelled it. I don't know what happened but I did not cancel the appointment. I will call someone else.

* (Oct 13,2020) I wanted to add a comment since the owner's response to my review is misleading. They did not try to contact me after my review. When I called their office on October 5 I was told they had two customers with the same name and cancelled the wrong appointment and didn't have my phone number. Really? I was told the owner would call me but it might take a couple days since she works 12 hour shifts at another job. It has been 8 days and no phone call. When I called in the day after the "no show" appointment the person I spoke to was very abrupt and didn't offer an apology for the confusion or ask if I wanted to reschedule. Which I did not. If you're looking for a dependable company do not call this one.

I was very happy with the service today! Dallas was right on time, found the problem and fixed the freezer in a jiffy. Easy peasy for me and the cost to fix seemed reasonable. We will call Central Coast Appliance again and shop there, too, when we need a new appliance. I like dealing locally when possible.
