Central Computers reviews
20Really great selection and service. I got my motherboard and fans which are in high demand and sold out online and got it for a lower price! They have almost everything in stock which some parts are out of stock online! They even have cheaper prices for some products. They are like the microcenter of the Bay Area!
Great store and service. Sadly the website doesn't update real time and the item that was in stock was actually sold to someone else. It didn't get updated until the second day of my online purchase. Still waiting on a response to cancel my order.
A nice, neat well organized establishment. Whatever it says on the website they have in inventory, they have in inventory. I love this place, they don't have everything I need but when the website says they have it in stock they have it.
Its a very organized storr. They have nice accessories for your gadgets. Very reasonable price!
I looked at reviews and thought to give these guys a try to repair my laptop. Got my Laptop repaired and broke down after first use. I went back and they said i have to start new process again, meaning pay the diagnostic and repair again. How about $300 plus that i have already spent. They didn’t backed up the repair. I learned that they don’t repair computer, they send it to the 3rd party.came to them, thought they have reputation, i would rather trust a flea market shop over these people. And no apologies either. Watch out, i would never come back again.
Okay, depends on who helps you. Younger people helpful & attentive. Older person not so helpful. Had to return twice to get purchase straighten out. Disappointing, especially since I am not real computer savvy.
Love to go here and look around for new little gadgets. It’s my husband’s go-to place for computer parts, too.
Had my tower die on me and i extracted my hdd. I was going into CC hoping that they could recover my data of my drive.when I tried powering up the hdd with a base plate, the motors would spin but the drive would not mount (get recognized) on my local laptop. I told them my issue, they immediately popped in our their HDD base and it immediately was able to mount. Instead of charging me for getting my HDD to mount, he just sold me the base and I was able to retrieve all my data at home.
I had my computer built here. I stopped in for a quote and was guided and educated on the projected build by one of the associates. He was patient and thorough when answering all of my questions. I made a few changes and had been given assistance on another visit by Lars. After a couple more questions and decisions, I had them build the computer which was completed only a day later. Their knowledge, service, and speed was excellent. I will continue to go here for my computer electronic needs.
Central offers a great selection of cables (networking, video, phone, etc), and a few brand names not carried in other local stores. Prices are slightly higher on competitive same brand products, but does vary items not at other stores.
Great selection of everything your computer could possibly need. Good prices too, and they tend to have those sold out everywhere items like GPUs, in stock, at their regular prices.
My favorite local computer store. Yes it's a chain but only in the bay area and each store feels like it's family owned. They aren't picky about payment and will happily unload all of your old gift cards with $17.36 on them. The return policy is a bit unforgiving. They carry all the bits and bobs and cables that the big computer stores won't.
This is my go-to shop for cables. By far the cheapest in town and best quality. This company makes their own cables and packages them. They also have a very knowledgeable staff if you're not too sure about the cables or any equipment for that matter. The owners are pretty rude however but the people they hire are very friendly
This place has every cord and adapter you can think of. I love my gadgets and this is where I go for all my accessories. Very knowledgeable staff. They have guided me in making the best buys from bluetooth keyboards to wireless routers etc.
I have been coming here forever, great place for cables and other items. Competitive pricing and selection.
I have been buying from Central Computer in Fremont since the store first opened. Here is why;
1.) Products on their shelves are good quality. No Broken Customer Returns on the shelf.
2.) Helpful and responsive staff.a.) They do not push extra $ warranties on customers.b.) Staff is knowledgeable on products and current technology.b.) No commissioned sales people lurking in the for easy commission.
3.) The Fremont Central Computer store location is great.
If you are into computers I think this is a place to go their prices is reasonable. Lots of accessories for ur cell and PC.
Overpriced name brand products, half the store is just full of junky phone cases and random USB devices. Might as well order from dealxtreme, you'll pay less.
When Amazon disappoints, Computer Central thrives. Computer Central is the place to go when you're in need for computer hardware and in a rush to buy it.
Not very knowledgeable, lacks quality buying power.they are friendly but simply not in the right business.
