Always a great spot for my kiddos! The area is beautiful but what they offer for babies and toddlers is unbeatable. Love this library.

Still a great place, and they have various community activities, today they had a Firetruck out front giving 'tours' of it to the little kids

After all these years, through advances in the internet, through a pandemic, etc, the HBPL is still very rich in resources and technology.

The best place to sit and get work done as the ambience with other people working around you makes you focused yourself. I could study here from morning to night as they do have a small cafe down on the bottom floor with drinks and snacks.

Insanely beautiful library. Interior design has stood through the countless years of changing style. Great balance of natural light that’s not distracting. Plenty of workspace and desks, multiple levels and surrounded by a great park if you somehow ever find yourself visually bored, which I doubt.

3 stars because the wifi sucks half the time. They have a backup that doesn’t even feel reliable enough to be called a backup. If you have Verizon the service is low and sometimes non-existent in certain areas. Also most of the waterfalls are off which I assume is because of our never ending drought, some fountains are still on though. Looks like the pools on the outside haven’t been on for ages, which I’ve personally never seen with my own eyes. Sometimes I’d like to imagine how much more beautiful it would be with them running.

In all it’s still worth a visit wether you just want to relax or do some offline work.

Grew up going to the library and it still keeps its charm. Great selection and very nice staff, would highly recommend for anyone in the local area. Support your local libraries!

Public wifi in this library is pitiful. I'm running a speed test right now and here are the results. 2 MB down and 5 MB up. You'd think with how high property taxes are in Huntington Beach, they could at least get usable wifi.

Jesus Christ no!

I Found Some Interesting And Fun Facts About Albert Einstein And Some Of The People In His Life, Seems He Had More Than His Share of theory's. I Like The Spooky At a Distance therapy that he and Schrodinger thought to be improbable and now it seems likely because of the breakthroughs in quantum research.

This is my favorite place to get work done as a remote worker. The library itself is well maintained and very quiet which is really nice. The trees and fountains on the lower deck are a truly amazing touch. There are not a lot of trees in HB so having this indoor oasis (and it being right next to the central park) is such a treasure for the city.

Beautiful place, with variety of seating areas. Some has water falls sound some not. Some are super cold some not. There is a cafe in underground level which serves drinks, pastries, and some pre-made sandwiches.

This is my favorite spot in all of huntington beach. The library is beautiful and expansive. There is a nature preserve and butterfly garden out back that leads to one of the best cafes I've ever tried. If you are in town for an hour or live here permanently, this library is absent worth a visit.

On our return to the Orange county Huntington beach Central Library we found it pretty much as it was when we were there in 2016 and 2018.
The Library is well stocked and is a very pleasant place to spend some quiet comtinplating time.
Along with the attached beautiful park, it is easy to spend one our more hours reading or just walking ‍️.

The experience here is always great. Staffs are always friendly, the used books for sale are cheap, the studying areas are clean and nice, the children's library is the best. Love coming here to study!

I only popped in to the library to ask for information. It looks like a lOvely spacious library. We were headed for the Cherry Blossom Festival in Central Park not knowing it had been cancelled. The sites advertising it indicated it was still going ahead. Shame on you organisers! We had driven up from Carlsbad so were fairly upset to have a wasted journey

I've been coming here 30+ years since I was 10 years old. This is one of the most pleasant places to study, with fountains for white noise, good wifi, snacks and a coffee cart in designated areas, and a gorgeous view out the windows of Huntington Beach Central Park. Ample parking, friendly staff. Great services.

Beautiful library with water fountain dripping throughout. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Charging stations to plug in devices. Wifi. Computers to use. Printing cost money but reasonable. Plenty of seating. Theater attached.
