Can't recommend this theater, mostly due to the clientele. I've been here only twice and both times the audience has talked through the film with zero repercussions. I'm going to assume that the locals are just, well, not great people. Avoid this place if you enjoy going to the movies.

Worst Management and theater EVER! Don’t spend your money here especially if it’s a Private Showing. Booked a week ago, called yesterday, day of to confirm, all confirmed. Location, Movie, time, etc. My account is charged, Family Members get tested for COVID in the days before, drive out from as far as Palo Alto and then, the Theater was closed. No signs, no Security, nothing. Daly City’s status after recent uptick in COVID cases starts TOMORROW, that’s why I CONFIRMED TODAY. Here we are the next day after calls and emails, still no response! Contacting DCPD and filing a theft of funds charge and the BBB. I’ve managed Brick and Mortar businesses for more than a decade, you call, you send emails, you hang signs, you staff security for the door left unlocked you Incompetent Morons! Completely ruined a family get together in these troubling times. Skip this Dump!

Nice theatre & only ~1.5 MILE (s) down Daly Blvd 2 Skyline.if memory serves, U can go RT under Skyline 2.think it’s Thornton Beach.it’s, like, RT there, when U go past Skyline (it’s NOT far @ all man!) which is part of “The 1”/PCH Hwy. IOW, after a nice movie w/ ur date U can literally just walk down the RIGHT SIDE (if ur facing it) of the bldg 2 “cut across” 2 Daly Blvd & then RT 2 the beach.if U don’t mind walking a little bit (walking time is.about. 5-7mins, I think?). Not far dude. Note: Even though Cinemark owns Century, I’m glad they let them use the “CENTURY NAME/“Banner” b/c of the few CENTURY Theatres there are (basically only in CALI & a FEW other “Western/Southwestern America states (the BEST part of America, IMHO) like AZ, CO, NM - & oddly, there’s ONLY like 1 in W. Texas - seems like I once read they only go as far WEST as NM but I’ve BOTH seen & been 2 that one in Far West Texas near New Mexico).
Anyway, I feel like I’m getting off topic, sorry. My point is they’re just BETTER, CLEANER, seemingly more updated & better maintained than their Cinemark Theatres “counterparts/sister theatres” I’ve been 2 in other areas/states which I’ve always found 2 be dirtier & more like. IDK, “$1-$2 Theatre-Caliber” if U know what I mean. And the person that complained about the escalators (?) : 1st Off, How freaking Hard is it 2 [literally] RIDE an escalator? It does ALL the freaking “WORK” 4 U like an Elevator (would U prefer stairs? !?) & 2. That’s one of the things that makes his theater somewhat unique is the “MULTI-LEVEL DESIGN” of it so U can actually [somewhat, somewhat! ] C the beautiful freaking Pacific Ocean!

DISCLAIMER (in defense of other comments complaining about the escalators being broken) : I’ve been here several times in the PAST, I’ll admit, but the escalators were ALWAYS working when I WAS THERE. I could be wrong b/c just b/c they were ALWAYS WORKING when I was there & IF they R broken “NOW” & frequently here lately then MAYBE mngmt is NOT keeping things run like they used 2 be earlier this 1st part of this past decade when I was going (2010-2015/6-ish.admittedly, I’ve not been here in a while (past few/4 years or so, I think it’s been) since I’ve been working/living in Texas past 4-ish yrs - ironically, where the “lone” (re: one) CENTURY Theatre in the entire state exists. LOL) - then they DEFINITELY NEED 2 get them fixed! Like I stated above, Century Theatres, historically, always seem to be well-maintained versus Cinemark theatres IMHO.

Anywhoooo [sic], this is a great Theatre (which is the CORRECT SPELLING: U do NOT SPELL “TheatRE” w/ a “-ER” @ the end; it’s not an “ER” (emergency room)! LOL! Have here on few date although it HAS BEEN a couple + yrs ago since I last went (2017-ish?). Has ALWAYS been a NICE, CLEAN, GREAT, COMFORTABLE CHAIRS (read others comments. I’m guessing somebody’s mentioned this considering how bad some theatres seating is), WELL-MAINTAINED Theatre w/ a GREAT LOCATION.how many other theatres sit within [just barely over 1.5 mile (s). Ocean is BARELY on the “other side”/west of Skyline Blvd) /viewing distance [somewhat: depends on where ur standing there] of the Best Ocean in the World: The Pacific?

At a birthday party which you can rent an entire cinema room just for your party which is a great idea and not that expensive

Would rate 5 stars except their snack station is kind of a mess but the staff are friendly and the seats are comfortable

Worst movie theater experience EVER! Floor in concession area was SO sticky I could barely move my feet - they kept sticking to the surface! Carpets are FILTHY! Escalator is old, rickety and loud. But the ABSOLUTE WORST PART was the actual movie theater. Forget the fact that the seat was nearly broken and I couldnt sit upright. It was SOOOOOOOOOOO flipping HOT in there! People were sweating like on a hot summer day! My clothes were literally sticking to my body! I sweat less at the gym! A TOTALLY unpleasant experience!

It is conveniently located with easy access by driving, bus, or BART. There is free parking without validation. There are various restaurants around for meal either before or after a movie.

It has two floors of theatres with lots of movies to pick. Each floor has its own concession stands to minimize waiting.

The place is clean and staffs are friendly. It is my first choice to catch a new movie.

I will never go to this theatre again. I went to watch Hotel Mumbai with my cousin, and a Couple heard my cousin speaking Arabic to me and got up and left. A few minutes later there was a cop in the theatre “standing by. ”

There was also only 8 people in the theatre and everyone was obviously spread out.
I caught him peeking over the ledge right at my cousin when I came back from the bathroom, and he seemed startled when he noticed me observing what he was doing.

Also, the chairs are advertised as recliners but didn’t recline one bit. They were also made of very thin cushions that felt cheap and uncomfortable. The speakers in theatre one are super old and sound blown out. No where near as clear and crisp as any other movie theatre.and not to mention the movies aspect ratio wasn’t calibrated correctly

I felt completely scammed. This theatre is old physically and mentally.

If you’re Arabic speaker or someone of Middle Eastern decent and are thinking about going to this theatre, don’t. It’s obvious they don’t welcome us here.

The coolest thing about this theater is the free parking. The concession stand was a MESS! Sticky floor, dirty wadded up napkins and straw wrappers everywhere and expensive! It's also under construction so I hope things will improve.

Layout of the theatre is a bit strange. Parking is free in the structure close by. Half the theatre is lounger, the other not.

We enjoy this theater about once per month. The recent addition of reserved seating works well. We often make use of the "special discount days" Monday and Tuesday. I especially like the "recliner" seats, in some theaters.

The theater’s room are insanely humongous! Very clean and has nice bathrooms. I would definitely recommend going to this movie theater!

It's okey. The escalator is not working at the time I was there. Very long line everywhere. One entrance which was the same exit. I hate that because you are trying to get people out in one door. In case of emergency, you would be trap. House 3.

This theater isn't half bad. Just not amazing either. This theater houses up-to-date films and is great for SAG members since we get in free with guests. I'd recommend a week day since this place get's packed fast!

Beware of bringing in outside food, because they will bust you and make you eat outside, even though there are no postings anywhere about that sort of stuff.
