Cha For Tea - University Town Center, Irvine CA

This place is delicious it’s my favorite boba place ever if you have not tried it try it right now its so good. If I could only go to one boba place it would be here. They also have such good chicken and it’s prefect for snacking definitely coming again and again and again. (it’s way better than share tea.)

Let me preface this by saying that the staff at this location are very helpful and provide great customer service, even the trainee who had taken our order was very kind. However, I had ordered two drinks with brown sugar boba and both drinks had so many brown sugar chunks, granules, and pieces at the bottom that I couldn't drink it and we ended up throwing them away. I'm not sure if this was a bad batch of boba, but it really ruined my experience with this store especially since this was the second time I had come back to try and give it another shot. Additionally, the chai milk tea and thai teas did not taste the best, so I couldn't even salvage just the tea from my drinks and throw away the boba. Can't speak for the food, but if you're looking for consistently good quality boba drinks, you're better off going to a different boba shop in this plaza.

Staff were so rude and not polite specially the older lady looked sje was in charged with the shop like manager. They don't care about customers nowadays!

Overall terrible the drinks have too much sugar in them even though I told them less sweat, there food and drinks are not fresh made me sick, customer service not good they tell you wait outside and cant even here when they call name when food ready.

One of my favorite boba places so far. I love anything green tea so the mango green tea is a perfect for me. The boba texture and flavor is also very nice.

Lines get really long sometimes, but it is a good boba place for UCI students! Boba is really soft and chewy but the drinks are ok, nothing too special. I enjoyed a mango green tea which is their best seller!

The place is clean and tidy. The workers are attentive, kind, fast and efficient. The options are diverse and the drinks are always of the highest quality. Huge fan of this location and highly recommended!

After I ordered my drink last night at Cha For Tea and I was waiting for it and watchin the staff anf how they make boba drinks (from where I was filming), suddenly this woman asked aggressively and savagely why you are here and I said I am watching and enjoying my night.then with a very rude and violent manner this person Showed Finger (F U said). I do not think it is professional for a business in food industry. I'm really sorry for people running this company and the people who hired this person, and if she owns the business, I'm sorry that IRVINE Company allowed them to work in a college environment. This behavior will definitely be followed.

The workers are nice and friendly, but the drinks aren’t worth it. They taste basic; u can get better drinks elsewhere. Also the mango green tea gave my friend chorro but that’s cuz she has a weak stomach.

Cha for tea is an excellent tea shop. My personal favorites come from the milk tea menu, but you can’t go wrong here. If you don’t believe me, just show up, and the amount of people that are in and/or around the shop will attest to this.

My favorite boba place in all of Southern California. Boba is consistently soft, warm, slightly chewy, and sweet. All teas are great too. Some of my favorites are the peach mint refresher and the almond milk tea, which is great both hot and cold!

My dog is taking eye surgery at that day and I have an whole day to spend in Pasadena. I took a yoga class and I had a lunch here.

I ordered cheese soufflé pancakes and oolong tea non sweet. The guy told me to wait for 20min but it wasn't long at all. It was more like 10 min or less. It was super yummy and I'm so happy to eat them!

Oolong tea was good. I wish I can come by here often so I can order other drinks including boba.

I love cha for tea! We get the best boba almost every day lol… speechless on the quality though.

Best popcorn chicken by far. I order from here often and they never fail. When im not around them, ill occasionally find a popcorn chicken or crispy chicken appetizer place to order from and it doesnt compare to this places popcorn chicken. Other places will undercook or overcook it, leave it super dry like beef jerky. Lol Cha always gets it right and just cant be beat. Keep up the great work!

Was never a fan of boba drinks until I tried their mango green tea with two pumps of sugar. Hands down the best boba drink I have had in the US! Their crispy chicken has no right to taste so amazing but they do and I cannot be more happier. I see why they always have so many customers lining up to enjoy their offerings.
