Chaat Corner reviews
16 Take away take longer to prepare even if you Oder through DoorDash besides the quantity of food is too little and prices little higher.
I had never dine here but I think people liked it.
Ordered their veg manchurian. It’s the worst I’ve eaten. Completely dry and with momo stuffing inside that tastes so bad.
I ordered a Mysore masala dosa to be delivered to me. The listed price was 15.99 and it said it is 3.99 for delivery. Accepted and ordered. Now I see I the reciept they have sent me:
1.0×
Mysore Masala Dosa
$15.49
Subtotal $15.49
Taxes $1.34
Delivery Fee $3.99
Service Fee $1.55
Tip $2.00
Total Charged
$24.37
I pay tax that’s ok. They did not tell me I have to pay service charge and over that another $2.00 as tip. Just because I trust them and punch in my card number does not allow them to charge these extra items. This amounts to fraud and misuse of a customers trust. Tell me upfront what charges you are going to charge me and stop misusing card details and customers trust.
Love this place! We get take out all the time, but I like the vibes inside. It's a nice place to eat in.
Decent tandoor dishes. Naan was chewy and not stale, but definitely didn't seem freshly baked. Service was good, has a traditional diner feeling.
Food is very good.when i visited, it stunk of simple greens.toxic fume.so i got my food to go. Not recommended to eat at the restaurant.just do take out
I ordered their sev puri which is specifically listed as vegan on their menu and they served it with pudina chutney drizzled on it which had yogurt in it. I'm Indian and I could look at the chutney and tell that it had curd in it. When I asked the waitress about it, she said that it has so little curd in it that it could be considered vegan. I wonder how they cater to customers who have allergies. I would never eat here.
Very authentic place. Friendly service. My food was too spicy so I couldn't eat it, but I should have asked before. Better to go with a reservation. Abundant portions.
This is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in town. I’ve had their lamb biriyani and mango lassi. It was worth every penny.
Food was good. Reducing the start for advertising-30% off for happy hour. No entries are included in that only appetizers.
If you want to have your woman feel uncomfortable because the tall chef that was wearing a green sweatshirt keeps staring then this is the place to come.
Food and service cant overcome that. Won't be back.
Spacious and conveniently located near mascone for group gatherings or otherwise. All chaat items were good.
Rose lassi was way too good!
Only 1st time I had good experience. After that every time I go I have been disappointed with the food and service.
This is a place you are craving Indian food and have nothing else around. I ordered the dosa and it was average at best. It did satisfy my hunger and craving for the moment as I was more hungry than anything else. If I were looking for good dosa with better sambhar and chutneys I’d not recommend this place. The only reason I’d suggest anyone be up here is to satisfy Indian food craving when nothing else is available.
Possibly the least appetizing looking saag I have ever seen. I'm not sure why it has come out so brown. And the texture is mush. I have made saag many times and eaten it at other restaurants and never has it looked like this.
The dal part of the combo however was really good.
I saw a server drop silverware and then laugh and kick it under a table. Also servers bumped into the back of my chair many times. I know I was seated at the middle table but there were several booths open so I don't know why I couldn't just be seated in one of those.
I mainly chose this place because it's affordable and close to MOMA. I probably won't come back.
