Overall: lovely
Food: Very good. The avocado rolls were fresh and bright, and the peanut sauce that the dish was paired with was delectable.the pumpkin curry was very good (a level or two above ""white people spicy"" and as someone who loves spice that was nice.) i had it over the pineapple fried rice and its such a killer combo.the fried bananas were immaculate as well.goodness all around.
Food presentation: making an extra subcategory for this because i want to commend the chef on their work.so cute and genuinely exciting to look at.wish i had taken more pictures.
Service: the waiter was an absolute gentleman. 0 complaints, he was very charming and on top of his game.
Atmosphere: cozy yet retaining classiness, the aesthetic is very well curated.the lighting, decor, and general mood were spot on.

This is a wonderful hidden gym. We had the Shrimp Pad Tai and the Beef Drunken Noodles. The absolute best Tai I've had in California. Service was even better than the food. Thank you Chalerm Tai Team!

I recommend the chicken satay and the Pad Thai. I got the pad tie with both the chicken and the tofu.

I don’t live but I am jealous. This is the best Thai food I have ever had in my life. The restaurant smelled amazing upon walking in and it was very well air conditioned. The service was excellent, they kept our water filled and asking if they could do anything else for us. The Pad Thai was creamy and had a lot of flavor. The chef special tofu pong curry also had a lot of flavor. We both over ate because the food was so good. And to top it off the check for two people and a Thai tea was $40! So affordable!

We’ve eaten here at least a dozen times, and have found the quality of the food and the service to be consistently well above average (which…for Lake County is a feat in and of itself!)

Happy that they always have sticky rice in those cute little woven baskets, and the regular rice served in the shape of a heart is a nice touch.

Both indoor and outdoor dining is available; clean restrooms around back (bit of a hike for the elderly or disabled).

Finally tried Chalerm Thai Bistro, the food was amazing! The food is fresh and flavorful! I can’t wait to go back!

Tasty, affordable thai food and really good portions! We were pleasantly surprised to find this place after a long drive and enjoyed the dinner experience!

Girls' party of 8. Good service, tasty appetizer rolls and entrees. Very accommodating, as when one of us wanted to add another ingredient to her salad. When our host ordered one mango sticky rice dessert and 8 spoons amid group discussion of allergies and excitement, the staff came back unexpectedly with a beautiful platter containing a heart-shaped arrangement of the sticky rice, precisely cut mango slices, and a garnish of raspberry. Oohs and aahs all around.

Best Thai food ever! The service is always great, the prices are fair and the decor is perfect! 5 STARS!

I grew up in Lakeport, but have lived in Seattle and Portland. Chalerm is legit. The presentation is beautiful and the food was surprising good. I may have had better thai food, but I couldn't tell you when.

I asked for a curry and I guess I got coconut soup and when I went to pick up they said $40! For 2 soups! I actually just wanted a side of curry but language barriers? Not sure what happened Food is good usually but not worth the price and size

Quite surprised to find Thai cuisine of this caliber in little ‘ol Lakeport! Very nice people and service and our food was fantastic!

Love this little gem of a place in Lakeport. The staff are so kind and accommodating, plus the food is always amazing. My favs are the Tom Kha, the drunken noodles and now my new obsession is the red thai curry.

This is my favorite restaurant to get mango sticky rice.it's such a rich treat. Thin cut mango.warm sticky rice.with a sweet creamy coconut sauce.so yummy.

As always another excellent meal. The pumpkin Curry has a wonderful slightly smoky and sweet flavor that sets it apart from any other pumpkin Curry. The food is always excellent and the staff is always attentive there with a fresh pot of coffee. This is our go-to spot for curries in Lake County. Stop on by for some of the best Thai food on the lake.
