Chando's Tacos reviews
18I order a burrito here it had no flavor and was like a wet sock. I also ordered tacos the meat was old and hard. Just no flavor Chandos Tacos needs to work on this location maybe a new chief its just nasty don't waste your money trust me. 3rd time getting nasty food its just guaranteed
The food was good but I think it was a little overhyped…. That’s not on them that’s on me thinking it was going to be the greatest taco in my life…. Great food, friendly service
I was trying to place an order ahead and They left me on hold for 40 minutes. By the time I got there I was still on the phone and I walked in telling them what's going on? And they just laughed it off.
Employees look like they are on drugs and have no professionalism or care in the world.
Its overpriced.
Its a shame because Chandos used to be a great experience.
This location was great for two seconds then promptly declined after opening. The workers look intoxicated and don’t greet you when you walk in. I ordered two burritos exactly the same and one was missing 75% of the ingredients. Doordash resolved this issue but I’m really over it with chandos. This is not the first time.
This place is so good I've been getting tacos and the service is especially good from this one sweet lady named summer she's been so kind and helpful will definitely be eating here again
The chicken birria tacos are MUCH too heavy. The tortillas are also much too heavy. The extra consome (dipping sauce) that they sold me on is excessive. Why would I want to dip the taco in extra sauce when they’re already overflowing with saucy oily meat? Just much too excessive all around. The chips were also stale.
Got there around 7pm. There was 2 to 3 people inside. There was also4 staff members behind the counter. So I'm not sure why is took over 15 mins. To make 2 tacos? And they were OK the tortillas were a bit chewy.
The nacho cheese was burnt, the lady who took the order was rude, she kept rolling her eyes. I wanted to get lettuce tacos however they were out of lettuce. We also wanted to chorizo meat and they were out.they actually didn't have a couple menu items. Had to take my order back to get it remade because it wasn't right. Over all won't be returning back here.once our order was ready they didn't bring it out or call the name. When we got the rest of the food the quesadilla barely had any meat in it. Literally one piece on a slice of the quesadilla. I won't recommend anyone to go to this location ever. I did end up getting my money back because of how bad the whole experience was.
Not sure we will be back. The staff was not friendly or helpful. Signs promised free chips and none was offered or given when asked about it. Taco Tuesday and it took over 20 min to get our tacos. The ambiance wasn’t inviting, but it was clean. Didn’t receive what we ordered, and when we spoke up, they didn’t care.
This is a nice clean restaurant. The Asada and the Adobada are tasty but the Carnitas have been a little bland all three times I've eaten here. My wife is trying to be vegetarian and got one each of the Tacos de Papa, Tacos de Espinacas, and Chando's Veggie Tacos. They were so good that she offered me a taste and I loved the Papa & Espinacas tacos so much I might just get those and skip the meat next time. The Nacho's pretty big, definitely enough for a meal or to share.
Fantastic food every time for a reasonable price. It's a fantastic place to go if you're just looking for somewhere new
It's a shame to write this, because the food is amazing.
I mean I only get the asada tacos so I can't say all food.
But the service is horrible, I'm not sure if it's a staff issue or what.
I know have to stop going here.
Bummer.
My wife has wrought hime chandos from the placer area Chandos a handful of times and that location seems to be a little more fresh than this one. My food was good not great definitely not bad, the asada Taco was very dry and tough, the asada burrito was okay but it had a huge piece of bat in the middle and same with the taco was dry and tough. The service was great in my food was served very fast.
I was in the mood for Mexican but I wasn't sure what I wanted. The lovely lady at the counter was quick to offer me the special of the day and I ordered it. I had a Carnitas Torta, fries, and a drink.
Everything came out hot and quickly.
I love Manzanita Sol, which they had on tap. So tasty. My Torta was perfect. Carnitas were flavorful. The onions, guac, sour cream, ect were all complimentary and tasty. The bread was soft, crunchy, and held up to the ingredients. The fries were crisp and salty. It hit the spot.
Fabulous food great staff first time there will be back again it's hard to find a good taco place
Really good tacos. I haven’t tried everything there but I keep going back to the tacos.
They have a large variety of meats. And They even have lingua, Cabeza.
Tuesdays you can get a deal on tacos.
Even though it’s Mexican food, it seems really healthy. Lots of vegetables. There are a few add-ons like cabbage which I enjoy.
Friendly staff. Food just ok. Tacos great. Forget the guacamole just terrible. Nachos awful as we're the tamales. Homemade tamales promoted but masa 2/3 times what needed, not enough pork/chicken filling and very dry especially the chicken. Wanted a great experience but not so.
Strange atmosphere, at best the food was lower mid level. Took long to get order of tacos and quesadilla. Food was greasy and lacked flavor. Staff seemed way too preoccupied with their conversation rather than helping. Not returning again.
