Have eaten at many Mongolian BBQs throughout Sacramento, Citrus Heights, Elk Grove, Roseville, ETC, and hands down these folks are hands down the best I've frequented. Good & healthy food with friendly staff.

Not going back, food was tasteless, sauces were like too much water and no flavor, so food no good today.my stomach was not doing too good after that.

Chang’s is a nice little spot to get your fix of all you can eat Mongolian BBQ. Plenty of toppings and two types of noodles to suit your fancy is nice. They’ve got plenty of sauce choices as well. I’ve not been disappointed here yet.

NO FLAVOR. NO LIFE. NOT AYCE! What a disappointment. The ambiance is like a morgue. Staff never talks to you. And the food is equally lifeless. The sauces are cheap quality and diluted so far as to lack any flavor. They charge you per plate so AYCE is not true. Lunch costs $18.69 / person for two bowls excluding tip. Chef never took his eyes off his cell phone and we had dirty dishes throughout our meal. Ran out of lamb for lunch and no refill. Booths are filthy. Certainly not to Folsom minimal standards. Sorry, will not return. Keep expectations low.

They are listed to be open till 8: 30 on website however on Saturday there was no one at 730 lights were off. Drove an hour for this BS.

So disappointed in our visit last night. I know they seem short on staff, but seating people out of turn, not responding to “ excuse me” when we needed water or napkins doesn’t make for a great customer experience. Having people wait, but those doing take can go ahead behind the wait group, then tables become available and the take out people are seated behind the wait listed people- not cool! Food is always amazing but 3 people standing in the grill section not assisting the staff in the lobby seems inexcusable. The staff in the lobby needs to pay attention to all patrons and check in them instead of larger groups only.

I like this place I feel up usually two bowls and it comes at your table with a bowl of white rice any bowl of I want to say wonton chips with sweet and sour sauce I highly recommend trying this place out

I've been to many Mongolian bbq places years ago so when I found Chang's nearby, I was super excited. Straight on the door, they showed you the All-You-Can-Eat price. I was a bit surprised as the price has increased in the past few months (looking from some previous pictures) but no problem as we were craving for dinner. When we entered, one of the staff noticed us. He pointed a booth for us and asked us to go straight to the buffet. They provided disposable gloves to keep the spoons clean.

They have thin sliced pork, beef, chicken, and lamb, as well as tofu for protein. They also have shrimp & squid (previously frozen) at the end of the line - after the sauce section. The vegetable looked fresh and there were lots to choose from.

I was super disappointed with the sauce. They were all watered down. For the first round, I put a ladleful of each sauce that I wanted but after it was cooked, the food was bland! So, for the second round, I put two ladlefuls of each sauce and still it was bland. For the third round, I basically doused my bowl with sauces and it finally tasted something. Also, the squid pieces that I picked wasn't cooked - was still raw & rubbery.

With AYCE, you'll get a big bowl of rice, soup, and crispy wonton chips. The soup was bland. The crispy wonton chips were good. Overall, it was too expensive for the price. The meat & veggie quality were good but the sauce was meh. It was a solid 3.5 stars for me.

Local business. So glad they made it thru pandemic. It's Mongolian bbq so your served soup and white rice when your seated. Then you get one pass thru to fill your bowl. Lamb, beef, chicken, pork, and tofu- I think.

Food was good. Very busy place, kinda cramped but it was fine. They do need to work on being a little more clear in their English. Both of us struggled really hard to figure out what the woman by the door was saying and she struggled to understand us as well considering we were asked the same question several times. Even my husband, who speaks multiple languages could not understand her very well. Other than that, everything was great.

I drove 2 hours to go to this changs because I thought it was like the one in Portland Oregon. Boy was I wrong. This changs is nothing like the one in Oregon. Folsom changs is very disorganized and after you put the food in your bowl and they cook it, they take your plate away and make you stand somewhere else and then they take it in the back kitchen and then come out with a plate and I feel like that's very weird for them to do it like that when they could just start at the other end of the bar and go the other way towards the kitchen. But anyway, not only that, but they don't communicate very well with the customers at all barely speaking English and the lady first told us to get as much as we wanted and then said that she's going to charge for another bowl. Nonetheless, I hate this changs I will never go back and the food wasn't even the same.

Best Mongolian in town, workers are always nice and asking if you need anything. Highly recommend!

We have been customers since they opened and the food has always been wonderful. Over the years not much has changed, and that is a good thing. You can count on it being a little busy, but that also shows it's good. Worth a visit and enjoy.

Used to live in Folsom, now occasionally work in Folsom. This place introduced me to Mongolian probably 20 years ago and I have yet to find its equal. Quality meats, lots of vegetables, the most sauces to choose from and it includes an all you can eat dessert too. Dinner is all you can eat, lunch has a choice of single bowl. FYI, pack the first bowl full if you want to try to take any home. Only first bowl can be taken home.
