The Vet and staff were very patient, answered all my questions and addressed all of my concerns regarding my tortoises. I bring all of my shelled babies here because they are knowledgeable about their care.

I specifically requested to see Dr. McDowell for my bird but she wasn’t the attending vet when I showed up and I wasn’t provided a reason why. There was a receptionist there who was communicative and kind but a different younger one was snarky, irritable to basic questions, and seemed very inexperienced.

Great place! I started bringing my daughters snakes here and now my cats and dog. They are super nice and not at all pricey.

Always had wonderful experiences taking my 2 rabbits for general check ups and surgical procedures. They are reasonably priced, since rabbits are considered exotic pets. Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Amazing animal care. Even more amazing, the front desk lady, Lila, was so beautiful, I'm thinking about getting more pets just to come back!

I bring my pet bird here and I highly recommend this pet hospital especially for those who need an avian veterinarian. The vet techs are very attentive and thorough, wait times are minimal, and the prices are very fair. The staff have also always been very friendly to me. Dr. McDowell is a very caring and experienced veterinarian and I really appreciate how she always took the time to explain our bird’s situation and our possible options. I feel it is very rare to get this level of care and compassion from other veterinary offices.

My dad just passed away and I have to leave out of state to be with family all the while our puppy has a sore paw- I called to try and get a last min appointment before I leave, I tried explaining the whole situation to the receptionist and she cut me off multiple times, so rude and just wouldn’t listen, I ended up crying and hanging up on her. There are far more friendlier vets in the area that you’d be better off giving your business to. People that lack empathy suck!

Found this place few weeks ago when our mouse “Splinter” developed an abcess in his cheek, the Dr is an angel, her staff is top tier, I’m a very nervous person and they are all so sweet and professional, I was immediately put at ease and trusted them with our little guy… the male tech was very nice and spoke to me and my son in ways we both understood what we needed to do, the Dr.was so sweet to my son, talking to him and keeping him at ease while working on Splinter… they all love what they do and you can tell, we found our new vet for the rest of our menagerie! I would pay triple what they charge for the care and love this office gives animals! Thankyou so much!

I brought my two rabbits to Chaparral, I did not enjoy my experience. Their only redemption is that the receptionists were very kind. We came in for a wellness check for both of the rabbits and my main concern was to find out their genders and if they could have a spaying/neutering procedure done. The nurse was evaluating one of my rabbits and did not conclusively tell me if my rabbit was a boy, as the shelter I got him from had stated. It was overall a very quick checkup and it cost about 70 dollars for each rabbit. They got their nails trimmed and multiple quicks were cut. The doctor did not give me any time to ask questions and blocked me from comforting my rabbit when it was clearly uncomfortable with them. I was left in the examination room and was not told if I was done or not, it was very confusing.

Took my Holland Lop, Collins, in for a check up. The entire staff was amazing and they are very affordable.

The vets here are absolutely amazing. They care about you, your pet and go out of the way to make sure you understand everything. They let you stay with your pet during the exam.

I wish I could give 10 stars
