Charleys Cheesesteaks, Modesto CA

We came to eat my son and I, I was so dissatisfied first for a drink with ice and for the over price.
2 sandwiches combos for 40 dollars
Will never eat in this place again.

Went there on 9/1/2023 and was told they was not accepting cash and was completely rude horrible customer service they only wanted to help the people that looked like them took a order before me and said we can’t take orders to order from the kiosk but I do not have a card I only have cash never will go back

The three guys that have work in there are too cool for there job way to hard for there simple minds. A simple stake and cheese was way to hard for those lil boys.

The place wasn’t clean plus I ordered a bacon 3cheese and they served with out bacon when I asked why they just said Sorry we don’t have bacon but they sill charge full price. I will never come back to this place. Disgusting

The food was amazing, I never had sandwiches there because I was too picky on my food, I got a sample and I liked it so we decided to eat there. The food was so good, I would return, but the place was filthy, trashy, what I don't understand is that they had too many employees, but no one took the time to even take a look at the lobby or even attempt to clean, nothing, ceiling was yellow from all the grease, it had so many cracks, garbage can looked that the only thing they ever did was to pull the garbage bag out and replace it but that was it. Ketchup and other condiments building all around the container were nasty. I am sorry Charlie's but management there socks for not paying attention to cleanliness

Bad experience. Paid $24.65 for 2 orders that were wrong. WAY WRONG. Didn’t realize it until we got the order home. Totally disapointed. Tried several time to call. No one answers the phone at the Modesto location to complain. I want my money back!

I arrived at lunch time. Service was quick, fries were hot, tangerine lemonade was very good, the Philly cheese steak with everything, onions peppers, lettuce, tomatoe, pickle was good. Better than chain fast food. Choice of chicken or beef for your sandwich and delete whatever add ins you don’t want. Also choice of 3 sizes of sandwich is nice. I ordered the combo with regular fries. They also have 3 choices of loaded fries. Dining area looked clean

Love the food and the staff! Always a pleasure to come and eat here. I would probably eat here everyday if I could. And to all the negative comments… give these people a break.you never know what they can be going through at home. I also understand that it’s not ok for them to act the way they do with us sometimes but we always have the choice to be the bigger person and de-escalate the situation and or even avoid it.

This was one of the worst experiences that I have had with fast food in the Valley. It took over 20 minutes to get my food which is ridiculous for just a sandwich and fries. Then when I got my food the order was wrong but it wasn't worth going back and so I just picked off the tomato's, and the fries seemed smaller than they should have been.

Staff not at all attentive. Store was practically empty but tables not cleaned and floors dirty. Had to wait to be served (3 staff in back bs'ing). Must say food was very good though.but portions were unbelievably small. I would rate this place higher, but I can't for the value of what I received vs what I paid. Over $30 for 2 VERY small cheesesteaks, fries and drinks. C'mon man!
