The lamb and beef platter was incredible! I got it with the salad and it was very filling.

Best food late night in HB downtown area. The guy working there was super friendly, and the falafel was sincerely one of the best I've had. Will come back 100%.

Really loved this little restaurant! The service was quick and the gentleman that helped us was very helpful in giving us his recommendations. We really enjoyed our gyros! They portions were large and it came with fries as well. Definitely recommend!

I ordered a gyro with a side of extra white sauce. This was one of the best gyros I've ever had. The flavor of the meat is what really sold it for me. My only criticism is, if you like tzatziki (white) sauce, order extra on the side because it doesn't come with a lot on it.

I've eaten at Charlie's a number of times. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The portion sizes are very big, and the prices are moderate. Their chicken shawarma is excellent, and it's an extremely large portion. They always have it cooking, rather than cutting it all and refrigerating it until people want to eat it. That's a major plus. In addition, they're open late.

Baklava is amazing. Fries were crispy and had good seasoning. The gyro was really good. However, the chicken shawarma was a bit bland. It needs some more seasoning. Stick with the gyro and you will not be disappointed.

Charlie’s Gyro in Huntington Beach is great, a very nice location very close to the pier, the selection of Mediterranean food is nice and tasty, the portions are good and the chicken shawerma is very tasty, also the spicy dipping sauce is on fire, the fries taste awesome specially with the spices they use

By far the best Gyro I've ever had. Beats some of the places in Greece. The staff and the owner made us feel right at home

Very nice place to get a bite to eat. The wait for orders is very fast. Just about everything on their menu is going to taste very good and be very filling. I would recommend this place to everyone

Wow! Delicious and you gotta try the garlic sauce

I was really surprised with how well the garlic sauce tasted. The gyro was fresh and fries were hot. Charlie had great customer service checking in on the customers and serving them their food. I love the ambiance and atmosphere of the chill outdoor seating area. I’ll def come back here for my gyro fix and for some more of that yummy garlic sauce. Oh and the baklava is home made! Thank y’all! I highly recommend.

Great location along Main Street with casual seating overlooking the area. The food is spectacular! Authentic flavors and great variety of sauces which enhance every bite you take. We had the Chicken Gyro and the Lamb and Beef Plate. Both were great portions and filling. Charlie is friendly and truly passionate about what he does, making it an even better experience! I wish I lived in the area so we can go back often.

My friend took me to this place first thing I landed in LA. Great decision! Uuuh the chicken gyro was so good. Loaded with juicy chicken that was cooked to perfection. The sauces were great too, especially the spicy sauce if you can take the heat. Another friend got the falafel gyro and loved it too. My cravings intensify as I write this review.

Originally from the middle east, me and my chef husband are always on the hunt. And let me tell you, this is the real deal.
The food is DELICIOUS
You can tell everything is made from scratch, fresh, clean and not even pricey!

Plain and simple, tasty food. We got the beef and lamb gyro and really enjoyed it. They filled up the pita with a ton of meat. The sauces were great, and staff was extremely friendly. Small restaurant good for grab and go by the beach. Highly recommend and I’m back often.

Only a few seats on the patio but the food is so so good. Fresh veggies and the chicken is done to perfection. The gyro was the best I’ve had fresh and tasty
