Sigh. The guy who said he is the acting branch manager is repulsive. But let me start with the young man dressed like he works at an oil change shop and his unprofessionalism. He literally got up during our meeting while I was trying to order a new card and he walked to the lobby to get on his cell phone. When I asked the BBC women (who greets you at the front) who he was on the phone with. She said she did not know and that she assumed it was a personal call. He never excused himself nor did he say he'll be back. So I finally got up because I realized that he was not knowledgeable or well trained at all. He kept acting like he could not order a new card. The Chase representative on the phone had to talk him through it over speaker phone. Then the guy got up and walked to the lobby to get on his personal cell phone. I got up and stood outside the cubicle. Then he sat back down after and 15 minutes. The manager then came over to the really young guy's desk and wipped it down with wet wipes while the young guy was sitting there. I was shocked but not surprised.

They gave me cash that other banks don’t accept!
Apparently customer needs aren’t priority for this staff, and the branch manager doesn’t stress this enough during training.

I needed cash for my travels, made an appointment through the app to make sure they have enough amount of cash in new bills (because bills that aren’t new don’t get exchanged overseas).

Their teller gave me cash that wasn’t new, moreover, half of it HAS TORN EDGES! Now guess what I am overseas and can’t get it exchanged, can you imagine being left without enough money abroad?

I was very disappointed today with the passive aggressiveness of bank teller "Bibi". I was recommended to Chase Bank at the direction of a Southwest Airlines supervisor in order to cash a refund check. When I approached the window and handed "BiBi" the check, she paused and then eagerly stated, "This is not a Chase Bank check. " So I redirected her attention to the print on the front of the check which read "Chase Bank". Then with a reluctant attitude, she asked for ID. As I retrieved my ID and handed it to "Bibi", she then sarcastically requested a 2nd ID. So I then submited my military ID as a second ID. Seemingly enthused at this point, "BiBi's" smile turned into a stone face as she seemed annoyed at my compliance. "Well it's going to cost you a $10 fee. ", says "Bibi" as she relished in another attempt to discourage or deny cashing my check. "No problem. ", I reply. "Bibi" then annoyingly cashed my check with a stoned face staring into her computer screen as she aggressively pecked at her keyboard keys. She then put the money in a money counter, placed it in an envelope and put it in the transaction tray. At this point, I retrieved the envelope, opened it and counted the money. I then asked "Bibi" for a receipt of the transaction to which she joyously replied with a sarcastic smile, "There's no receipt. " I simply walked away from the window and re-entered the line. When I was called up to another window and explained to the gentleman what my request was, he simply replied, "Oh, no problem. " and printed my receipt in a few seconds. He handed me the receipt and thanked me for coming to Chase Bank. As I walked out of the bank, I encountered "BiBi" who was now in the lobby and I simply held up the receipt and showed it to her. She looked at me and simply giggled. I left in disgust with such poor customer service. This is not my first "questionable" experience at Chase Bank which is why I DO NOT BANK WITH THEM.
