Best comedy in town - my stomach hurt from laughing! Amazing staff, seats, and drinks - can’t wait to come back!

Last minute decision to go out on a Sunday night and it was the best decision all week. Small crowd, close up seating, energetic comedians, great host, beautiful producer, strong drinks, definitely would return.

An absolute blast. The team that runs the place including John and Tiff are just amazing and super accommodating. Can't believe we didn't find this place earlier. Highly recommended.

It's my first time in town. Laughter is cheaper than therapy but it might not help solve your problems. It's great fun! There were 5 comedians and 1 host. Each has about 10' time. The show starts around 8.15 and runs for an hour. Had the When Life Gives You Lemon because it is sweet.

Can’t say better things about this comedy club. Especially with disability accommodations! I didn’t expect much when I contacted them with short notice and knowing that they are smaller, but Jon was so great with us. Lots of communication, great drinks, the best staff, and great comedy! I wish I had this club closer to home so I could visit and support them again. I will for sure be back next time I’m in town! Thanks, Jon and CTT team!

We’ve been here twice now, and the show has been a memorable delight each time. I certainly imagine it won’t be our last visit to this charming theater and their enduring comedy show.

Second review of Cheaper Than Therapy. I’ve been coming back here every so often to get my dose of standup comedy. After a shaky first review, this place has since gone up in my rankings. A fun night out with Scott and his band of comedians. The quality has been consistently good, but even when it’s not top drawer it’s still entertaining. Get there early, grab a cocktail and enjoy a casual, fun and relaxed atmosphere of quirky and amusing comedy in a small, intimate theater.

We have been going to various comedy shows around Cali and this was definitely the best! Sore abs guaranteed afterwards the space is also interesting and no minimum drinks required.

The comedy here was great! A small and intimate theatre, it was a great vibe with a smaller crowd. Ticket price was very fair. However, $16 drinks, cocktails where the “bartender” isn’t even mixing, is actually outrageous. Charging $16 for a drink from a pitcher just seems silly to me. If budget is the issue, my suggestion is to add on a few bucks to ticket price and have reasonably priced drinks that will keep people spending money at the bar. Over all good experience… just expensive bar.

Best comedy club in the bay! Had such an amazing time! The comics were hilarious, the drinks were strong and the atmosphere was perfect! Thanks for a great Father's day night out for my hubby and I!

Visited from NYC, we had an amazing time. All the comedians in the lineup killed it. No pressure to order drinks (or any minimums) and all the flexibility to go get your drinks at any point in the show. Really great vibe here, you can tell the producers care about their show.

Excellent. All of the comedians were hilarious, the drinks were good, and the host was amazing. Went on a date night with my gf. We will definitely be back with a bunch our friends.

Owner, John, has created a new hight of customer service. My sisters 40th was not a simple comedy show, top off with a drink, and meander home. They made it an experience we could never replicate. Our deepest respects and appreciation for you and your funny, good spirited staff.

I went here and recommend this place. A true local comic place. The comics are super friendly and come out to talk post performance. The bar tender is super friendly and chill. All round great place

As it was a cross our hotel, we just went to have a look. We were so happy we did as we were laughing so hard that tears ran down our faces.

Staffing was sweet and the show was hilarious. The host should’ve had his own bit too, he was one of the best. He co produced the showed too with another comedian who was also sweet and hilarious. First time ever going to a comedy club and it’s not going to be my last!

It's funny, staff is super friendly/welcoming, and is the best bang for your buck for a night out. I've been only twice but I know I'll be coming more often.

Comedy show I was honestly not expecting to belly laugh like I did. The comedians will leave you crying with laughter. Very intimate little theatre, very clean. I’m definitely coming back when I have the chance.

This was a really fun date night while we were visiting San Francisco. I was pleasantly surprised at just how funny all of the comedians were and the drinks were delicious as well. The Jell-O shots were super fun and I appreciated a different kind of drink option. I have to say, I wasn’t quite ready for the show to be over yet because I was really enjoying it!

We had a fun night and the comics were great! The drinks were reasonably priced and there was no drink minimum! Even though we ended up buying a couple of drinks each anyway, it was nice not to feel pressured! We would definitely come by again the next time we visit San Francisco!
