Love cockroaches? Management that won’t listen to your concerns in person but will undoubtedly respond to this review? This is the perfect place for you. Overpriced apartments with poor management and maintenance. Just a few blocks away you can find apartments for 40% less. Huge turnover in the office - during my one year lease I saw many employees come and go. Water shuts off every other week with little to no notice. Dishwasher was broken during move-in, was promised a replacement with a new unit, nothing happened for a year and they ended up also charging me a cleaning fee for the broken dishwasher after my lease ended. Lovely.

TLDR; Expensive, old, water 80% of the time, cockroaches hanging out with you.

These are the best apartments in Rancho Cordova for the price. The Maintenance was not that great when we moved in, but they have hired new people and they are way more professional and experienced. Hopefully more good people move in!

The staff here are so helpful. Especially Gia Escobar. She really made an effort to make my life easier by getting a unit I wanted. She made sure that everything was perfect in the unit and kept me updated about it. Due to some miscommunication I had issues earlier but Gia made sure to solve all those issues. Thanks again Gia.

I was happy with the 3-4 inch margin you did. Then, you came and worked on it again and removed all of the ground cover! That wasn’t necessary but I certainly have no vines creeping into my patio. Thank you.

I just want to give a shout out to Berto the Maintenance man I’ve had him come to my house to fix things on 2 occasions and both experiences were wonderful in fact I only want him to come in the future very nice professional and get the job done great job Chesapeake you picked him and I see why (Gem)

Absolutely excelent and very professional! Today i saw the pray mantis close to my door of apt outside of house. I need to mention that I have huge fear of insects. I called Chesapeake commons office. Gia, wonderful lady, imidiatly sent to me Sam and Sergio. I see those guys working so hard every day around apartments. So they came after 5 mins and they took care by speed light of that, for me. One guy was hanging over stairs metal bar while other was already over the balcony hanging haha! They were realy chasing her! Finally they killed it so it doesn’t come again and they showed me, that way i can be sure that enemy is gone! Just amazing that they came so fast and took care of it like ghost busters!
I would like also to mention good guy Enrique as a big team member as well, that helped me fix my sink and other stuff. I am here over 5 years and I really like it. Thank you for always making me feel comfortable living here!

I put the order in on Friday. Didn't hear anything until Saturday. It was fixed but my carpet needs to be cleaned. I told on Tuesday someone would come on Wednesday but no one showed.

I was locked out of my apartment due to a faulty doorknob. I stopped by the management office on the way to the pool to let them know. Before I returned from my swim, they had replaced it with a brand new one. No sweat, no delay.

Gia is the most incredible person! I had a very unexpectedly lengthy and frustrating application process and felt that I wasn’t really being communicated with along the way despite leaving emails, messages and requests for calls back. I just stopped hearing from the person who originally helped me apply one day. Yesterday I called, Gia answers the phone and is determined to help me. We finished the entire process today. She is just so kind and sweet and working with her to finish everything completely turned around the experience for me. I’ve never really had anyone go so above and beyond for me before and she didn’t hesitate for a second to jump at the chance!

The new regime that the office hired is really clicking. Proactive would be a word to describe them. They just fixed my AC unit. They visited 3 consecutive days to make sure they got the unit fixed. Thumbs up!

I gave it a 2 stars because the faucet has been leaking in one of our bathrooms since we moved in and when the maintenance guy came he said they would “come on Monday to fix it” it’s already been 2/3 weeks and nobody has even bothered to come. Also the carpet is starting to lift and we barely moved in about 3 months ago. And again they haven’t done anything about it. We really thought these Apts were much better, but I guess we were wrong.

Maintainence was very professional and quick. Smiled upon entering. They weren't able to come until late in the afternoon and by that time it was 94 degrees in my apartment but they quickly fixed the problem.

It’s summer and with triple digit temperatures, the swimming pools are closed. Two of the swimming pools we went to today has this notice (see photos) posted on the gate.

Add to that, online maintenance requests that has not been done since January and a second maintenance request over the phone a couple of months ago. Still waiting to get a call from maintenance.

Car has also been broken into last March. Also, when we moved in towards the end of December 2022, the heater closet door lock is not working and the door was wide open completely getting soaked in the rain.

Requested to have them fix the lock two weeks after we moved in but was told they are all gonna be fixed and that they are just behind. Installed a child safety lock (as seen in the photo) so it can be closed at least. It is a safety issue.

We are very patient tenants and there is always the option to move. They require a 60-day notice by the way.
